Yanticaw Park is the largest and by far, the most athletically inclined of what I like to refer as the "String of Six Parks" in Nutley (north to south: Kingsland, Memorial 3, 2, and 1, Yanticaw, and Booth). Clocking in at just under 30 acres, and bordered by Chestnut Street on the north, Centre Street on the south, and Passaic Avenue on the east, its' keynote features are a huge basketball court and two ballfields. But in recent visits, I've found it to often have broken glass and other hazardous items in the direct area where children are.
