Los Jarros Mexican Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Nutley

The worst service ever received and will never recommend nor get any business from me. I placed an order through door dash of 2 chicken quesadillas, 1 chicken fajitas, 1 steak fajitas, and a bottle of soda. I was missing 1 order of chicken quesadillas, absolutely no condiments. The quesadillas, per their menu includes beans, Pico de Gallo and sour cream. Didn't bring anything....when I contacted the restaurant I was told they don't include any condiments and must be ordered seperate at an additional fee...never heard of a Mexican restaurant not including condiments. The fajita orders came with only 2 tortillas...luckily I had tortillas at home that I had bought. The platters had more peppers and onions than meat itself. Needless to say, their prices are high...before the door dash fees, it cost close to $70, totaling $93 with door dash fees. Which I willingly paid thinking we were getting our hard working money's worth. In addition, I asked for a manager and was told there are no managers nor owner on site that only employees run the business. Then he just laughed at my complaint. I told him that I would express my dissatisfaction to the public and they would never get any...

Excited to try for the first time. Ordered my go to - enchiladas w mole sauce with a side of rice and beans. My oldest son had shrimp tacos and my youngest had chicken tenders w fries - which was hands down the best thing on the menu. We went in early Friday eve. Place was empty. Food came in time you would expect. What I see not expect was that I didn't get one thing that was hot. The mole had a good flavor but the chicke was dry/hard and tasted reheated. Come on guys - it's chicken - just make fresh chicken. I tried to eat it wo complaining and made it about half way through but could eat no more. When I told me server he just smiled and said it's because the chicken is boiled - wha?? Let's not even go there. Then he said he was just the server - actually he was running the front of the house. He said but look at how much you ate. He said no one ever complained before ever - let's not go there either. Then the cool came out and refused to acknowledge the poor food. Basically they just dismissed me. Anyway won't be back. I do t write reviews but decided I should go there. Will not be back. Wish we had better Mexican...

Literally worst Mexican /taco place I have visited in this area. All they care about is taking your money, and not caring about their poor service. They literally charge for everything. When you order taco or platter, all they put on your plate is rice and barely put any veggies or meat, way too overpriced for a plate full of cold rice. They put literally countable pico de gallo, when asked to put little more, they charge you extra for one spoon of pico. Their food is very cold, even asked for them to microwave my food since it was uneatable. They gave an attitude, the lady who works there has a really bad attitude. No hygiene, no gloves when serving your food. Just gross. They change you extra for one spoon of sauce, any other taco place you go, the different types of sauces are all free, but not this place. Will never come here again, and would never recommend to anyone else. Please stay away from this place and don’t waste your money.
