The setting is gorgeous. The food is exceptional. We stopped by on a Saturday midday and they had a very talented musician playing and he was amazing. I recommend the barn burrito, the burgers are great, ulu waffles 🧇, salmon bagel, and of course try the different juices! Love that they have buzzers for when your order is ready. I've visited 5+ times and every time the food was perfect. My only two constructive comments are: the water is served in a water dispenser machine and it's not cold. I just love cold water, and it's hard for me when there isn't an option for ice or for cold water. Maybe there's an environmental reason that I've missed? I'm not sure. Also, the staff is sometimes very sweet & welcoming, and sometimes don't engage. I don't mean that in an obnoxious GREET ME type of way, I mean that in saying the way that the counter is set up there isn't really a clear line for ordering. Sometimes folks are standing around checking out the menu or maybe standing around waiting to pick up their food so it's not always clear if the cashier is ready for the next person. Sometimes they're really great about calling out that they're ready for the next person, and other times I find myself standing there for a little while trying to figure out if someone's going to order or if I should go up and order. Overall 9 out of 10,...
Read moreA classic North Shore gem, Farm to Barn Cafe & Juicery has a delightful selection of not only local farm-to-table treats but also home goods like glass straws and a personal cutlery kit to help those interested live the green, sustainable lifestyle. I bought a glass straw for $2 which I find delightful - I love to see things happening so this object is especially enjoyable for me (I have a mechanical, transparent “skeleton” watch for the same reason.
The staff was a big help grokking which juice would suit my fancy - the sweet & refreshing watermelon basil was my choice over the “pure green” option, which I was told would help me with my bowel movements; I am sufficiently young, so far, that is not the issue upon which I predicate my beverage selections.
Sitting on one of the shaded picnic tables with some friends eating tasty, healthy food was a great way to start the day. With all the seating outdoor, surrounded by sprawling views of the north shore, Farm to Barn offers a chance to reconnect with nature, a little, while eating a hearty meal. I highly recommend it and will...
Read more1st time trying here and interesting semi healthy menu and tried the ulu waffles. Great idea and the ulu waffles is lighter than reg waffles not heavy but i need to minus one star because 2 of my waffles had burnt ends. My friend ordered the fried rice she said was good healthier than her reg but she prefers her reg fried rice lol. Service was just alright and as we were eating i think 70's rock were playing which we didnt mind but another customer/staff friend told the staff to straight up turn it off. Never seen that before at a restaurant maybe tropical vibes would be better i guess lol. Also we ate in and had to guess where to put our dishes i think signs should be put up to make experience easier. Cold pressed juices were sold out (was still early morn tho) so drank their filtered machine courtesy water instead was too late i seen had some teas on the board menu. Hoping for a better experience next time around and interested in trying their other menu items like the coco sorbet and the bagel sandwhiches which i dnt hv...
