Title: A Gelato Paradise with Feathered Friends and Flaming Hot Servers!
Oh boy, where do I even begin with this gelato joint? It's like stepping into a tropical paradise, but with a twist! Picture this: you're enjoying your delicious scoop of gelato, and suddenly, a bird swoops down from the sky, giving you a friendly hello. Talk about a unique dining experience!
Let's start with the servers. Whew, they're not just hot, they're on fire! I mean, seriously, I had to double-check if I accidentally walked into a gelato shop or a modeling agency. These servers are so good-looking, they could melt the gelato themselves! But hey, don't let their stunning looks distract you from their exceptional service. They're friendly, attentive, and always ready to help you choose from their mouthwatering flavors.
Now, let's talk about the gelato itself. Oh my taste buds, prepare for a flavor explosion! They have a wide variety of flavors that will make your heart skip a beat. From classic favorites like chocolate and vanilla to exotic creations like mango chili and lavender honey, they've got it all. Each scoop is a little piece of heaven, and you'll find yourself in a gelato-induced trance.
But here's the twist that sets this place apart: a bird that's decided to make this gelato joint its own personal playground. Yes, you heard that right! While you're enjoying your gelato, a feathered friend might just swoop by to say hello. It's like having a live-action Disney movie playing out right in front of you! Just make sure to keep an eye on your gelato, because this birdie might be tempted to take a little nibble.
Overall, this gelato place is a hidden gem that combines delicious frozen treats, stunning servers, and a touch of avian entertainment. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you with a smile on your face and a belly full of gelato. So, if you're up for a gelato adventure with a side of feathered fun, this place is an absolute must-visit!
P.S. Don't worry, the bird is a professional and won't steal your gelato. But hey, if it does, just consider it a bonus...
Read moreMy wife and I went here last night, 08/17/2015, and it was a very unpleasant experience for me. We walked into the shop, and stood behind a family of 5 (Caucasian), as they made their order at the counter. The manager (or so I think), a middle-aged Caucasian woman, blonde hair, and a slight European accent was extremely friendly with the family in front of us. When the family of 5 had been served, they left, we came up to the counter, the staff somehow disappeared, we thought nothing of it, so we waited and continued to look over the menu. About 3 minutes passed (which is long when you're waiting to be served), and an elderly Caucasian couple came behind us, the manager magically re-appeared and waved them up to the counter. The elderly gentleman pointed to us, suggesting that we were there first; the manager, shook her head and continued to motion them to come to the counter. The elderly gentleman was courteous and asked us if we were waiting, and I, wanting to walk out after being bypassed, said to him that he could go ahead. Later, after the elderly gentleman and his wife had been served, the manager, whilst cleaning up / counting her bank gave us half of her attention and asked if we had been served. REALLY? I'm 6'2", 300 lbs.! My wife is holding our 1-month old baby, and oh did I mention we have brown skin? The only brown people in the shop! How did she not notice us? If you ask me, the manager has a preference of customers based on race, that preference being Caucasian customers. She was so animated and gave her full attention to the customers before and after us, who were Caucasian. Then for us, she gave us half of her attention while she began closing up shop. My wife is the optimistic type, and tries not to let acts of racism affect her. So I held my tongue, and did not speak of the issue again, trying not to ruin the experience for her, and ended up buying the gelato as planned. But, for sure, I will never go back to that shop. IF YOU'RE NOT CAUCASIAN, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE POLYNESIAN, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY AT IL GELATO...
Read moreWe rented a vehicle hoping to see some "big waves along the North Shores." Unfortunately, there wasn't any huge waves to be seen during our outing here.
While driving through this cute little town, my wife noticed this little cafe and wanted to stop in for breakfast.
I originally didn't care to but relented in the end! Ya, I'm a nice guy, besides the alternative was McDonalds which I didn't care for.
We drove past the restaurant looking for a parking spot out front, which wasn't available.
Then again, the street was so narrow, I don't think a "horse and buggy" couldn't navigate down these streets.
Fortunately, the establishment had ample parking in the rear of the restaurant.
Of course the restaurant was packed with people eating breakfast, which was a good indicator that the place must be good.
I thought we would be waiting for a seat, which I wasn't prepared to do.
We came in and was seated at the last table, which was next to the front door but it wasn't an issue with us. The restaurant was clean and didn't present any health issues.
After looking at their menu, I ordered the two buttermilk pancake breakfast.
My son, who's always hungry, ordered the Steak and eggs.
My daughter, who wasn't that hungry only ordered their home fried potatoes.
My wife, ordered their poached eggs with sausage and toast.
With so many people inside, our breakfast order was prepared in a timely manner and I was impressed.
My pancakes were well cooked and tasted fine with their maple syrup.
Everyone else had nothing negative to say about their orders. The bill for our breakfast was very reasonable and worth the price.
The only drawback at this restaurant was the restroom, which was located out back.
Their restroom looked like a "glorified outhouse" complete with a flushing toilet but inside of a shack!
Bottom line is that we would return, provided there was something to see,...
