Killer Tacos has a laid-back, surf-inspired vibe that’s easy to appreciate, especially if you’re on Oʻahu looking for a casual spot to kick back. Located just a few minutes from the beach, it feels like the kind of place surfers and locals might frequent after a long day catching waves. The atmosphere is relaxed, with walls adorned with surfboards and beachy decor, and the staff is friendly, giving off an effortless island charm. I decided to try their fish tacos, a staple for any taco joint, and I had high hopes. When they arrived, the presentation was decent – two soft tortillas stuffed with seasoned fish, topped with coleslaw and a drizzle of sauce. The fish itself was fresh and flaked nicely, a definite plus when it comes to tacos. The toppings were crisp and added a nice crunch, while the sauce provided a bit of tang to balance the flavors. That said, while the meal was enjoyable, I couldn’t help but feel that it was missing something that would set it apart. The flavors were mild, and I found myself wishing for a bit more spice or zest. It didn’t have the kind of punch or uniqueness that makes you crave it long after you’ve left. All in all, Killer Tacos delivered solid, fresh fish tacos, but they were just that – good, not great. If you’re looking for a quick, decent taco fix near the beach, it’s worth a stop. Just don’t expect a flavor explosion or anything particularly memorable.

*BEWARE* parked in the parking lot for maybe 5 minutes, went to a shop next door to browse for some surf stickers, then was planning on returning to grab some tacos. Came back and car was gone. The building owner was outside and when asked about it he said yeah it was towed, just call the number on the sign, then coward off to hide as soon as I started pressing him for more information. Where I was parked there were no signs at all. (Pictured below) total towing SCAM. After picking up the car at the shady tow yard, came back and went to find the owner. Of course he “wasn’t” there. Employees inside admitted they knew it was happening and showed no remorse. Just told me sorry, but it happens, just call the owner “Chris” to complain.

Okay food but you'd likely find something better close by. Food: we got three fish tacos. Two of them were served with their spicy sauce and one wasn't. The spicy sauced added a marginal amount of flavor and spiciness. The tacos seemed to be a bit bitter which was a little off-putting. The fish crispy but it wasn't seasoned with anything and instead relied on the topping for a flavor boost. Service: we were the only ones in the restaurant at dinner time so the service was extremely fast. The food is prepared before hand and assembled at the time of order which makes service fast. Cleanliness: the restaurant was very well maintained.

Worked here before not a place you wanna get food from. Ask to see the back room yikes. Alot of big roaches there sometimes you can see it running around. The fish is frozen comes in a bag. Nachos chips are not fresh. They re heat it in a microwave. I was cheated out of my tips every night. I was never given a shirt for work. Plus I got sick and was fired for calling in. I also was offered to smoke drugs in the back with the boys on my 2nd day of work. They took all my tips money and I never got one dime or penny. Not a place I'd support. Lunch was never offered to me to eat for lunch as an employee meal. I sat there watch my co workers eat and never bother to ask if I wanted something to eat or drink! I think I didn't deserve to have been fired. The people there are lazy. I never had a interview I sat there for an hour then was told you do this you do that put that there that goes here and there and that was it. I never knew who my boss was. I was fired by text message and it was not sent to me it was sent to a 3rd party. Someone else had to tell me I no longer work there. So unprofessional. They steal my tips. They need to rehire the whole place. Maybe that's why they lost thousands of dollars last year. Better check your employees bank accounts. All in all I worked there and never got to try one chip. Still to this day I have never...

BEWARE!!! Running a Towing Scam. We parked here to eat and walked across the street to take a look at a shop before we ate. We returned 5 minutes later and our car was gone. Called the towing number on the parking signs and was told to Uber to 805 California Ave in Wahiawa. Also was told it would be $175 to get my car back. The towing lot is an old repair shop with a makeshift fence around it. Very shady, no office, would only talk to attendant through the fence line. Would only take cash (with an on-site ATM available). They probably take only cash so they don't have to file/pay taxes. Name of the towing company is Response Parking Management. I returned to Killer Tacos after retrieving my car to let them know they lost my business and what they are doing is not right. The workers inside claimed the towing company had cameras set up outside and the restaurant had nothing to do with towing vehicles. I seriously doubt that as the nice couple who gave me a ride to the tow lot said the tow truck driver came in to talk to one of the workers before he towed my vehicle. Total scam. They are hurting people for visiting the area and their business. I'm sure there are kick-backs occurring with this practice. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY! NOT...
