I am writing a four-star review based on my recent dining experience at this restaurant. The food offered here was of good quality, and I appreciated the availability of healthy options on the menu. It was refreshing to have a variety of choices that catered to different dietary preferences.

Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The place had a beautiful and vibrant atmosphere, making it a fun and enjoyable spot to dine. The decor and overall design added to the positive experience.

However, I must mention that there were a couple of minor setbacks during my visit. When we arrived at around 11:00, we were informed that they had run out of cheese and toast. This was a bit disappointing as those were items we were interested in trying. It would have been better if they had ensured the availability of all menu items during operating hours.

Additionally, the wait time for our food was longer than expected. While I understand that some waiting is inevitable during peak hours, the wait seemed slightly longer than what I would have anticipated. This aspect could be improved upon to enhance the overall dining experience.

In summary, the restaurant offered good food with a focus on healthy options. The beautiful and fun ambiance added to the overall experience. However, the unavailability of certain menu items and the longer-than-expected wait time were minor drawbacks. Despite these setbacks, I would still recommend this place for a enjoyable...

We had a bummer of an experience Sept 3, and while I love Sunrise Shack, I love the boys who founded it, and I love the conscious nature of the company, I wanted to speak on it because it could have been prevented. We were the only ones there in the mid morning and put in our order as usual, then sat down on the bench furthest to the right, adjacent to the ordering hut. She took my name as part of the order so I assumed they would call out a name. After 10 minutes or so we wondered so my companion went up to the window and asked if the two bowls sitting there were under my name--they were, and while my companions bowl had some texture to it, mine was soup. It was still tasty, but dissapointing. We never heard our names called, and as I said we were the only ones there so when they placed them out there, it was not as if they thought someone else was my name. We've also been in the past where the kids call your name and you come up. Im not sure what happened this time, but it was a bummer. Hopefully a little training and it won't happen to anyone else, especially a first timer who doesn't know the brand and might be swayed from returning. Note that my review is from this single experience which has never happened to me before, countless times. We were consummate OG shack customers for years. Aloha and thank...

I recently visited The Sunrise Shack at this location and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the bowls were delicious and definitely worth the price. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were fresh, making for a satisfying meal.

However, the customer service left much to be desired. While waiting for my order, I noticed one of my bowls was ready for pick-up at the window, but I wasn't aware it was mine as I didn't hear my name called. It sat there for several minutes, melting down, until my second bowl was ready and my name was finally called. When I picked up my order, I asked about the first bowl and was told that my name had been called earlier. It's possible they did call my name, but if no one responds, they should call out again. The calling system is problematic, especially if you're seated farther away and can't hear very well.

Additionally, I would not recommend spending extra on add-ons for the bowls. Despite paying 2 or 3 dollars for each add-on, I only noticed traces of whatever I had chosen. While the bowls themselves are worth the price, the add-ons don't offer good value for money.

In summary, while the food at The Sunrise Shack is delicious, the customer service and value of add-ons need improvement. I hope they address these issues to enhance the overall...

A Little Piece of Happiness at Sunrise Shack 🌞 Every time I stopped by the Sunrise Shack after snorkeling at Shark’s Cove, I felt like I’d found a small piece of paradise. The ocean breeze, the sound of waves, and that first spoonful of the acai bowl — everything just felt right. The people here are the heart of this place. They greet you with real smiles, not the kind you put on for work, but the kind that make your morning lighter. There’s something special about how they turn a simple shack into a space filled with warmth and joy. I’ve been here four times this trip, and I already know I’ll be back again. Some places feed your body, but Sunrise Shack feeds your spirit. Mahalo for the beautiful mornings and the kindness you share so effortlessly.

Don’t support these guys. It’s expensive, everything comes in single use packaging and it doesn’t taste very good. They claim to be “COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY, WE REDUCE WASTE AND USE ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING” but when I asked them if they recycled it they said “no just put everything into that trashcan. One of the worst examples of greenwashing I’ve seen. Perhaps you could use washable/ reusable cups instead of single use. Plastic takes 100s of years to decompose. There are 5 of these franchises on the island so maybe you could ask your franchisor for some other ideas to facilitate genuine composting. Good luck with it.
