Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in O’Fallon

Never had a good experience the 3 times I've went to this location. So I figured I'd review it.

The first time I went by on a Friday evening and made sure to get there at least 30 minutes prior to closing because I understand clean up and wanting to leave work on time Well I got there 45 minutes before close and there were cars in the parking lot and people inside. Nobody answered me at the drive through. Bunch of lazy high school and college kids I guess. 45 minutes prior to close just because you don't want to work is unbelievable.

Second time I went I used dunkin and my drink was wrong. Not to big of a deal it still tasted pretty good despite it probably being some other mobile order and it wasn't worth the drive back.

Third and last time was today 7/23/2022 went around noon and asked to get 2 quarts of ice cream. I tied the cashier I didn't care if they were hand packed or pre packed whatever was easiest. I tell them I want the oreo stores flavor which is a summer flavor and the beach day which is also a summer seasonal flavor. Somehow they say they are out of both. I highly doubt you are out of both. You probably just didn't want to hand pack them because they weren't pre packed.

All in all this is the worst location for Baskin Robbins/ dunkin. I'd rather drive to the city because at least the workers at that location aren't lazy high...

Great ice cream, but VERY service. The employees were nice, but it was like 45 minutes before closing time and it seemed like they had already checked out & didn't want to bother to serve anyone else.... They had broken down most of the store, and took almost 10 minutes to get me my 2 simple ice cream cups because they were too busy working on breaking down equipment for closing instead of getting my super quick and easy order ready. And when you have a tired and crabby toddler in the car, who was promised ice cream, and your family literally waiting for you to eat in the parking lot with their ice cream melting... Because the dining room is still inexplicably closed.... It's super frustrating to have to wait so long for such a simple order because the workers would rather get the store ready to close than serve their waiting customers who desperately needed to get going and didn't expect to wait 15 minutes to get 2 simple ice cream sundaes.

I honestly wouldn't ever go back there because it's just unfortunately not...

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Nearly EVERY experience we have has been bad at this location. The service is always terrible, employees seem to dislike their jobs and rudely tell customers to leave the store at closing time. My first job was at a Baskin Robbins when I was in high school and telling customers to leave was strictly forbidden.

Ordered a birthday cake and it was wrong. They did refund us for the cake.

Ordered a pre-packed quart, was almost home and realized it was the wrong quart in the bag, another disappointment since this was for a birthday.

Dined in the lobby last week for another birthday celebration and employees didn’t even know what type of hot teas they offer.

I rarely write bad reviews and we feel we’ve given this location ample opportunities and undortunalty we walk away disappointed EVERY TIME! Corporate should be ashamed of...
