I decided to visit Biryani Boyz for a lunch break after hearing about it from others in Ofallon, upon entering staff pointed to the bar area without greeting, I was then seated after a moment at the bar, after sitting down I was not given a menu and had to grab one from the bar top, after looking over the menu it took 10 minutes to flag down someone to order. I ordered Chicken Tikka Kebab, Lamb Saag, Chicken Vindaloo, Roti, Cheese Naan, and buffet service, the buffet had a selection of chutney rice, naan, dosa, curry, biryani, palak, and makhani, mostly chicken for protein with an option with paneer and an option with lamb. The buffet came with complimentary masala chai and lemonade. Most of the buffet options were middling and blandly seasoned at best, except for the the establishments namesake, the biryani, which was well seasoned and flavorful, the chutney selection was average, to note a few of the chutney’s were watered down, especially the Tamarind, the peanut chutney was their highlight. None of the buffet dishes were packing any spice heat, however they did have a red chili paste alongside the chutneys. The masala chai was solid and not too sweet, to note they had sweeteners on the side for those who have a sweet tooth, the lemonade on the other hand, was way too sweet for my taste, so I stuck to the masala chai. The chicken tikka kebab came out piping hot and smelled great, however upon trying the dish the seasoning was a bit underwhelming, the roti and cheese naan were perfectly cooked, not to crispy and not to doughy, the lamb saag was rich and creamy, well seasoned, and the lamb fell apart in the mouth, the vindaloo had barely any spicy heat, which I had asked for them to make it as spicy as possible, it just didn’t have that good kick, there was very little chicken, and even less potatoes, at first I wasn’t sure if they had added the potatoes. Overall most of the food was mediocre and lacked spice and heat, the service was sub par(except for the chef; he was a pleasant and friendly fellow), and to note while there, it was extremely hot and I was dripping sweat from the moment I walked in, I’m not sure if the AC broke, but it was cooler outside, and the temperature outside at the time was 81f, the thermalizers for the buffet didn’t help as it was likely contributing to humidity in the air. I’d personally say stick to the menu and pass on the buffet and make sure you don’t have anything time sensitive to worry about.

This is a new place alert for authentic Indian Cuisine Buffet. Ambience and the services were great. Items included Veg - Chana 65, Onion Pakoda, tomato Dal, sambar, white rice, palak paneer, Butter Naan and Veg Dum Biryani for veg lovers. Non - Veg : Chicken 65, Tandoori chicken, chicken Dum Biryani, Andhra chicken curry, Butter Chicken Masala. Dessert : gulab Jamun, caramel pudding. Chana 65, Onion Pakoda, Veg Dum Biryani, Curd Rice, Tomato Dal, Chicken 65 were outstanding. Though the veg and non veg biryani masala seems to be same, however Cloves flavour was dominating in chicken biryani. We were served hot Tandoori chicken, it was soft and well cooked but somehow the flavour was missing. When it comes to desserts Gulab Jamun was good over caramel pudding. Overall the food was average.

While the food was very tasty and flavorful, the buffet was mostly cold. The only warm thing was the white rice, and it still wasn’t hot. I told a staff member that I didn’t think the buffet was heating properly, and they moved some trays around, but I was still left eating room temperature and cold food. The only thing that was available to drink was room temperature water and lemonade. Once again, I thought the flavors of the food was all very good, however it’s not enjoyable to eat a buffet that isn’t even warm.

I understand it takes lot of dedication and hard work to build and run successful business and also believe supporting local businesses is very important. I normally do not go on social platforms and give negative ratings , I had given them negative feedback through Facebook messaging few weeks back about their food becoming full of oil and soda current days . They gracefully accepted it on message and promised for improvement. Yesterday we went for their Indo Chinese buffet Thursday special combo and very very disappointed. Noodles and fried rice was totally blanch and with overdose of black peppers- no where it was close to made by any even entry level chef. Even chat was disappointing- in the name of samosa chat, they only had potato stuffing and no samosa .paw bhaji was NOT at all paw bhaji . My kids could not have any better options for dinner and only ate 1 piece of chicken and 1 Gulab jamun im a dinner . In spite they normally like noodles, fried rice, paw bhaji - they could not eat those items there more than 2 bites. We normally try and avoid wastage and serve very small quantities ourselves still lot of food got wasted and kids stayed still hungry and we paid 16 plus taxes per person ( I understand inflation is high plus tariff issues) but being a customer only expect to have basic authentic or atleast tasty Indian food ( if fusion - atleast...

I stopped by this evening with a friend for dinner and it was fantastic! Everything on the buffet was excellent. It's a great way to try Indian food, especially if you're new to the cuisine. You can sample a little bit of everything to see what you like and what you don't. They will have their liquor license soon, and the bar is currently not operational. Every table had bottled water next to the settings, and you could also order a soda, which I believe is either bottled or canned. The buffet is only temporary in the evenings but will be available seven days a week for lunch. Right now, it's only $15.99, which I think is a very reasonable price. In the evenings, they’ll offer entrees. As soon as you walk in, you’ll see a cooler filled with beautiful desserts on the left in the...
