Likely one of the best places for Thai food in this state.
The yellow curry is the perfect dish for those of you looking to try something outside your comfort zone while retaining many familiar ingredient combos of western cuisine like carrots, onions and potatoes. I recommend getting it with their fried chicken at a heat level you can tolerate. It’s creamy, spicy, sweet, and savory all in one and then the fried chicken adds some nice texture variation. Please be aware if you get the other meats they use lean cuts so don’t be expecting major differences in flavor or texture (hence why I recommend the fried chicken). If you have room, their desserts are also something special, the mango sticky rice especially.
Please also realize this is THAI food NOT Chinese or Japanese or Vietnamese or Korean etc etc. It’s a family owned and operated place so between the burden of limited staff due to covid and high levels of to-go orders, they are doing the best they absolutely can to serve you promptly but struggling at times. I witnessed a customer repeatedly berate a server here, claiming the server didn’t know what chow mein (a Chinese dish) was, hassling the server about how long the food was taking, almost going into the kitchen to yell at the chefs… please do not be this person. If you want Chinese food, order it from a Chinese restaurant. Rant over, the food and the people are lovely. It’s my favorite restaurant in the area...

By the time I figured out their spicy was actually spicy I had ordered the shrimp pineapple Curry also at a 3 and my landlord that went with me ordered the chicken green curry at a 1 both of them were also fairly spicy so I ended up getting tons of leftovers as my landlord had already filled up on the chicken satay when the waitress asked how it was and we told her it was a little too spicy she offered to fix it but my landlord was already full so we were just taking it home for lunch so she told the chef and they hooked us up with a big portion of fried rice and some delicious fried bananas with a dark chocolate sauce that was absolutely mouth watering. The food was all amazingly flavorful even tho we did underestimate the spice but they took care of us even tho it was our mistake. Definitely will be back and will likely...
