Until a couple of weeks ago, we were regulars here. I ate my breakfast here on average of 2-3 times per week. While being a bit over priced….it should never cost $20+ dollars for breakfast food and coffee….tge food was satisfactory and the service fairly reliable. They have made some changes lately, and there were some issues with food being off a few times, and service was spotty. My girlfiend got an eggs that were so covered in grease that she didn’t even finish them. The young black man who was a server was very apologetic and willing yo be accommodating, but we were out of time, and couldn’t wait for a new order.

Most recently, I went in to have breakfast before I had to get to a meeting. There were only 1 or 2 other tables with people at them, and two servers on the floor….so not busy at all. There was a young lady who sat me, and an older lady who was on the floor tending to condiments on the empty tables. The young lady told me she’d be right back to take my order. She then sat another couple who came in after me. I sat and waited for 10+ minutes, and neither she, or the older lady came to take my order. I was no frustrated and out of time. The young lady stood and talked to the other couple for the entire time, and the older lady worked on tidying tables.

I finally had enough, and walked over to the young lady and said I couldn’t wait anymore, and that I’d like to pay for my coffee and leave. She just said I can have the coffee for free, and not to worry about paying for it. She didn’t offer to seat me or to comp a future meal, or get a manager or anything….just a dismissive cup of coffee.

I would have liked to requested to speak to a manager on sight, but had to leave to make my meeting on time. So I called from the car to ask to speak to one. According to the older lady who was wiping tables, she was the highest member of staff there at that time. I told her that I was unhappy with how I was treated there, and especially being a regular.

I told her that as a business owner myself, I would like to hear of any experience like that in my business, and handle it directly. I have her my contact info, and said if I receive a satisfactory call from the general manager or owner, that I’d hold my review, and consider coming back.

I have not been contacted by any member of management, and therefore I will not be going back there. I am not a difficult customer, and don’t expect special treatment. But resteraunts are about service. I can cook my own bacon and eggs at a fraction of the cost. I go for the service and convenience. To be left completely unattended to like that is an expression of where that staff’s mind is about service. And that reflects in their leadership, especially given I was...

Can I leave less than one star? Tried this place for the first time today. Awful. I used to wait tables so I get short staffed. However, we waited for a solid hour after ordering and food never arrived. I ordered the so called “bottomless mimosas” and after that hour never got even ONE. Server never even told us her name so avoid the girl with the blue hair. She’s completely clueless. We were told our ticket was next when we finally flagged blue hair down to ask about our food and then two other tables around us got theirs. We still had nothing. We finally left after giving them plenty of time to consider the “short staffed” excuse to neglect their guests. Never ever under any circumstances go here. Unless of course you’re trying to lose weight because I guarantee, you’ll never get food here. Edit after restaurant’s response: Additional wait times I totally understand. Even longer waits for food on, “one of the busiest days of the year” ( as if to imply that as a former server I don’t get that? Please dig for another poor excuse ) it wasn’t a matter of ADDITIONAL WAIT TIMES!!! It was a matter of complete lack of service at all. Please explain how I never got even ONE mimosa in an hour? Please explain how the server never even gave her name much less even realized we had no food for an hour, much less even, as you claim, keep us updated? Please explain why we NEVER got one bit of food or even a drink refill ( and to mention AGAIN not even ONE “bottomless mimosa”) while waiting for food AN HOUR AFTER WE ORDERED??! Please explain how every table around us sat, ordered, ate AND left while we waited an hour after ordering, still without food??! This is not additional wait due to short staff and a busy day as you say with clearly not enough food industry management skills to run a curbside kool-aid stand. It is lack of service industry knowledge or even training AT BEST!! And a horrible wait staff!!! And obviously a manager or owner who is only interested in blaming his guest for lack of understanding rather than properly training and managing the establishment. Have a...

"Due to the current staffing crisis in the restaurant industry, we may have longer than normal wait times. We apologize for any inconvenience." - This sign that you place on every table does not make up for terrible service. We arrived on Father's Day with about a 20 to 30 minute wait. No big deal. Ordered drinks, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. There was only flavored coffee creamer on the table, so half and half was asked for. The response was "I'll be right back with it", after checking on one table, taking an order at another, then bringing drinks to a 3rd table, ten minutes later, the creamer arrived with an apology for the wait. Once again, no big deal. At the time our creamer arrived, our food order was finally taken. Bottomless mimosas were ordered. Twenty minutes went by, no mimosas. After literally waiting over an hour, no mimosas, no food. In the meantime, others were seated and received their orders. And in that hour, not once was the table checked on. Worst restaurant experience possible, we ended up walking out, and the experience completely ruined breakfast for the day. If 0 stars could be left, it's what they'd get. It doesn't really matter how great the food is if you never get it. Won't be back and absolutely do...

I was out that way because I ran a race at Brommelsiek (?) park and wanted to treat myself to some breakfast. But I didn’t want a big chain place. Bishop’s is a mom and pop kind of restaurant and I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. Breakfast and lunch kinda place, so you won’t be going there for dinner. But I wanted breakfast food for lunch and this was a win. Super friendly waitress who made sure my glasses stayed full and checked on me frequently. Ordered a make your own omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast. Everything tasted great! It’s nowhere near my house but I’d gladly come back if I was in the area.

This little diner is a decent enough place for a quick breakfast, with good coffee, and excellent service. I didn't catch her name, but my waitress was kind and very helpful as I had never been to this location before (in town on work). The food leaves a lot to be desired - very bland and required a bit of Chalua and S/P. The Sausage Gravy tasted like it looked: White and bland. The atmosphere was Classic Rock/Country Music themed and the restaurant was very clean. Definitely kid friendly with a generous kids meal selection.

Eggs benedict to start, came on English muffin that was burnt on both sides and soaked in butter, hash browns were soggy. Ordered OJ and receive 4 OZ for $4. Bishops skillet, way to much salt all around, coffee was watered down and got 2.5 cups at best from the pitcher. Server, had a blatantly obvious belly piercing out in the open. Atmosphere 3/5.
