Happy Food! Happy Mood! Is their slogan. I am by large a huge pretzel fanatic as is most Americans. So I was excited when I seen a now open sign of a Pretzle shop. So I had to stop in to get some pretzels because this dough boy needed some dough. When I walked in my heart sank when I seen all the pretzels in a heat lamp warmer. I said to myself I hope this doesn’t taste like Mall food because that is what it reminds me of. that point. I ordered 3 pretzels with jalapeño cheese sauce. On the way to my car I grabbed a pretzel to eat and was hard very crusty and hard. I went back in and spoke with the ladies. I told them do you know your pretzels are hard. They said it shouldn’t be they are fresh. One lady said they won’t be like soft pretzels. I showed them how hard and crusty they are. They said they are supposed to be hard and crusty they are a certain kind of Bavarian pretzel. So I thank them and went on. I should have asked for a refund the were just too hard to eat. Once I got through the hard crust the inside was chewy like your eating a piece of gristle or fat from a steak. I believe they were very old pretzels sitting in the warmer too long. I probably won’t eat here again. The service was great and the ladies working were friendly. This was not A “Happy Food Happy...

The pretzels are just ok. Soft on top, hard on the bottom. The cinnamon sugar pretzels had been in the warmer so long that a lot of the sugar had melted into a glaze instead of sugar crystals. The service was just ok. Not rude but definitely not friendly or welcoming. And I don’t think the employees have a great understanding of safe food handling. Maybe a Serv-Safe class would be a good idea. And some hairnets. I’ll be sticking with Pretzel Stop in St. Peters. They’ve got the pretzel...

We have never had a bad experience with this place until last weekend we had pre ordered number pretzels and a bucket of nuggets for a party to hopefully accommodate 75+ people and were told they were $20 a piece and the day of pick up they were not what we were expecting… very disappointing.
