There’s a reason this location has 350+ reviews and only two stars. Just don’t bother with this location and go to the one on Jungermann. The service is very shoddy and I think after trying it a few times this will be my last. I pull up to the drive-through at 7:40 PM and their advertised close time is 10 PM. I pull up to the order kiosk and one of the three employees working in the back WATCHES me pull up. One employee had a mop in her hand so I figured maybe they were cleaning up a big spill, no worries. Well, I continue to wait, and wait. Nothing, and nothing, and nothing. After about seven or eight minutes, the car that had pulled in behind me shortly after I got there left. Then another car pulled behind me. I waited another minute or two then pulled around back to see two of the employees doing dishes. At that point I had a feeling they were “closed“. I pull around again and at this point there’s now two cars in the drive-through. Then about that time they turn off some of the dining area lights at 7:56 PM as if to finally say, rather unprofessionally I might add, “we are closed“. I would have been annoyed if I pulled up and they told me through the speaker that they were closed, but just that the employees didn’t have the courtesy to let me know they were closing sooner than their advertised closing time is enough to make me never come back. Based on this experience and other reviews, it sounds like whoever franchises this location needs to seriously overhaul the work culture. This type of closing early nonsense is not unique to this fast food location or chain. In the post Covid era when places seem to have a hard time finding workers, I’ve noticed this happen more often. Either make it painfully obvious that you are closed, and/or have the courtesy and decency to post your updated hours online, or even a simple hours change notice on the...
Read moreOn Sunday at a few minutes after 4 pm, we placed an order online for delivery for about $50 worth of food. About ten minutes later, the DoorDash driver called us and said that Popeyes would not give him our order because they had no record of it. We texted the driver our receipt, and he showed the employees our receipt and his notification to pick up our order. The driver said the employee was rude to him, and that the store's only cashier had left for the day. Again, this was just a few minutes past 4 pm.
I tried calling the listed number, only to get an automated message that "restrictions on the line" wouldn't allow the call to connect.
A few minutes after 5pm, a SECOND Doordash driver called and said she had just received a notice to pick up our order, but the employees wouldn't give it to her. We told her about the first DoorDash driver so she tried again, but again, the employees refused to fulfill our order.
More than thirty minutes later, a THIRD Doordash driver contacted us, and told us the same story - notification for a pick up, but the employees refused to honor it.
We filled a complaint with the Popeyes corporation via the website and were told we'd get a refund, that was 48 hours ago, and at this point we're still waiting. I tried calling the listed number again and got the same "restricted" message.
This particular location has been open nearly six months, and I would have figured they'd have these sort of bugs worked out by now. But I have to wonder if the management/owner don't care and that's why this sort of thing happens. They have lazy and rude employees who refuse to fulfill orders even when proof of payment is provided. They also have management who do such a poor job of scheduling that only one cashier works only part-time on a Sunday.
I will never spend another dime at...
