Pho Happy Wok — Restaurant in O’Fallon

My family ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, Vietnamese egg rolls, egg drop soup, pho, bun bo, and the sweet and sour chicken. I truly can't wait to go back and eat more because it was excellent! The vegetables and herbs were fresh, the meat was flavorful and tender, and the soup was rich and soothing. I was so busy stuffing my face I forgot to take a picture to add to this review.

The restaurant is unassuming, a small storefront in a strip mall. I'm assuming the kind and quiet man who took our order was the owner, and also the chef. The wait was slightly longer than expected but it was well worth the wait as the food was all hot and delicious. The prices were comparable to other Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in the metro area.

5 stars, don't let other reviews turn you away or you'll miss a great meal. I'm very excited to...

I've only been to this place three times, as of right now. The Pho Ga Chicken is my usual go to when dining in, which taste delicious and always had a healthy portion! However, I just ordered the Pho Tai (beef) for takeout, but I was really disappointed with the amount of beef that I was given. There was only 5 slices..which weren't that large in size either.. I'm not sure if the portions are smaller for takeout, I just happen to the be that unlucky customer for the day, or Pho Tai is suppose to have smaller portions..regardless, be sure to double check your food before you leave! This will give you the opportunity to reconsider your tip at least.. I'll be sure to update my review if I see progress...

Caution when eating here!

Ordered a couple meals and drinks for my family and the driver forgot a portion of our order. When we called and asked why they didn't bring our full order, they said we didn't pay for the portion that was missing. We have the receipt and a menu, con-artist management. When we told them this, they gave us excuses and claimed the rest would be delivered, but it never was.

Long story short, they never brought the rest of the order and even hung up on us after calling us liars.

If you insist on eating there never prepay. I am done with those thieves altogether. I won't be charged for items, not get them, and be called a liar, then denied...
