Midnight Mediterranean — Restaurant in Oak Bluffs

My husband, friend & myself orderedtakeout from the Mediterranean Grill on Saturday night. Was so excited to try it. Unfortunately, we were all so disappointed in our meals. My friend & I ordered the Fire Roasted Lamb Gyro Bowls They were out of rice so we had to take them with arugula. What we got was mostly just bowls of dry arugula with about a half dozen olives each. We each had approximately 5 very small bites of dry meat with no flavor. Also, They came with no tzatziki sauce. They could have at least added some pita bread. Appalling for $25.00 a bowl. Popped into Jim’s package store for some beers and a nice Pinot Noir when this little hole-in-the wall spot in the corner of the parking lot caught my eye. I settled for the Lamb Gyro and settled seems like the wrong word to use because I am not sure where I would be if this spot hadn’t caught my eye. 10/10 meal, could not recommend this place more. This place is amazing!! I need good take out when in Oak Bluffs and this is the ticket. The lamb gyros are amazing, best I’ve ever had. Everything tastes fresh and homemade, tzatziki sauce delicious! Ate here twice during my last trip to OB. Looking forward to working my way down the menu over the summer! Also, the staff is super nice and accommodating. Ordered online as leaving the beach and was ready for pick up when we arrived! Check this place...
