So my wife and I parked at one of the “Curbside To Go” parking spots. Open the McDonalds App, selected what we wanted (Her: Large Strawberry Milkshake. Me: Large Dulce De Leché Frappuccino) & after I unlocked my Method of Payment (Cash App Card), I had submitted the order. Almost immediately, I switched over to one of my gaming apps & began playing. Upon completing a “round” I switched over to the McDonalds App to see what was going on with our order…… it was then that I saw the time & realized that we’d been waiting there for almost 45 minutes!!! 😱😱😱😱😱
I informed my wife that I was going inside to figure out what in the world was going on with the order. Once inside, I stood there awaiting to be acknowledged by one of crew members & after a good 10 minutes or so, a crew member approached the counter to call out a name for an order. After not getting a response from any of the patrons, he turned to me to ask if I was the person who he was looking for & after saying “No, sir…. I’m trying to figure out wh…” he cuts me off & calls out the orders name again. A customer came speed walking from the bathroom & before grabbing the order, requested a drink carrier. My fuse was burnt out & I was doing everything I could to hold back the rage & 🤬. I managed to stay calm except for saying “Wow, just wow!” At this point, I was just about to turn to leave, but the worker came outta nowhere (it seemed like) all of a sudden. He quickly requested what my order that I had previously said under my breath & didn’t know he had heard me ask why I had been waiting in curbside for about an hour…. The Shift Supervisor (although I never asked for her name &/OR for her “Experience Level” OR “Job Title,” their was HONESTLY NO NEED. WHY? YOU ASK? The way she talked “down” to her Crew, was my first clue, amidst MANY OTHER “intense ways that she carried herself & level of ENTITLEMENT” were some of my main “CLUES” to her Job Title) decided to take quick & swift action, (in her deranged mindset) in the form of a negative comment & also in a failed attempt to put the blame onto the CUSTOMER, with the following “Karens that believe their being vocally attacked”statement:
“The ONLY reason that you’ve been awaiting for your order to be brought out to you for OVER AN HOUR (she made the in quotes ✌🏼✌🏼hand gesture along with a tone of voice that was her attempt to “MOCK” me), is BECAUSE you didn’t enter in your “Curbside To Go” spot #! So, that’s not our fault because we can’t just go out there not knowing what spot you’re in! It doesn’t work like that!!”
I was so tired at that point of the evening, was a VERY good thing in a sense because of the fact that I didn’t have the energy to even begin to tell her, even the slightest amount of “Oh how wrong you are…… blah blah blah” type of reaction.
On the other hand, it was a VERY BAD thing, that I was too exhausted to even attempt to inform her of EVERY SINGLE THING, FROM THE EXTREMELY HIGH END AND THE EXTREME LOW END OF WHAT SHE DID WRONG, THE HINDSIGHT OF THE CAUSE & AFFECT NOT JUST IN REGARD TO THE CUSTOMERS, BUT TO HER CREW AS WELL….
ANYWAYS, I’M PRETTY SURE THAT YOU ALL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT. NOT TO MENTION, I CAN ONLY HOPE FROM HERE ON OUT THAT NONE OF YOU HAVE TO ENCOUNTER THAT TYPE OF SITUATION, BUT IF YA DO… REMEMBER TO BE THE BIGGER ADULT & STAY CALM, COLLECTED & STAY POSITIVE!!! The GLOWUP is real! I don't really go to McDonald's unless it's for DoorDash and I only trust their breakfast items (2 sausage eggs mcmuffins, hashbrowns, with a mango smoothie). I would always advise ordering through the app or ordering inside before I recommend waiting in their drive thru line. (WAIT TIME MAY VARY)
Service, when ordering inside, is fairly decent. The wait time is not as long compared to the drive thru and their is plenty of seating as you wait. They do not play when it comes to deliver drivers and their food. Mcdonlads is the only place that makes sure no one touches your food by putting everything in the bag, including drinks, and stickers to secure the their bags. ▪︎CUSTOMER SERVICE VARIES DEPENDING ON WHO YOU GET▪︎

Read moreWe had a horrible experience at this McDonald’s. We went through the drive thru at 2:01 pm and ordered two Quarter Pounder meals with coke. Easy order, right? Get to the window to pay, then the next window to pickup and they tell us to pull to the side to wait. There were 3 other cars pulled over to wait also. We waited 20 minutes and our order finally came. I instantly checked the bag to make sure that everything was there and tried one of the fries. The fries were cold and stale! So my husband went inside and explained that we waited 20 minutes in the drive thru lane only for our fries to be stale. He asked for fresh fries or a refund and the cashier instantly threw money at my husband and a refund receipt instead of just fixing the issue. First of all, it’s a drive thru. If you have to have everyone pull out and wait for their order then it defeats the purpose of a drive thru. And second, the fact that they screwed up and didn’t even try to fix it clearly tells me they don’t appreciate my business. So we pulled out, went next door to Taco Bell, ordered tacos, had a pleasant cashier, our food was hot and ready by the time we got to the end of the drive thru and we didn’t have to wait. Taco...
