My experience was HORRIBLE. I was there in the store at 217 W. Madison in Oak Park yesterday, 5/2/2016, around 5:30 pm. The woman who took my order did not seem to want to be bothered. I intially asked for a mini shake, to which she responded "We don't have mini shakes." I said, 'Oh, but it's on the menu..', to which she replied "We don't have no mini cups." Ok. So I ask for a small shake, with Oreo cookies and cream ice cream and chocolate syrup. My standard issue when I order a shake ANYWHERE. She leaves the counter to go and start making my shake. She complains to one of the other employees that the ice cream is "hard", which confused me because I thought that's what frozen ice cream was supposed to be. I happen to look over the counter at the ice cream she had in the blender, and it did not look like Oreo cookies and cream, so I walk down to where she was scooping ice cream. I watched her scooping out cookie dough ice cream, and asked her whose shake was she making. She responded, "Yours." I said, no, I asked for Oreo cookies and cream, to which she replied, "No, you didn't, you asked for cookie dough." I said I don't eat cookie dough ice cream, so I would never ask for that, at which point she walked away from the ice cream counter, poured the contents of the blender into the sink, and threw the blender on the counter, in the presence of other employees and several customers in the store at the time. I've NEVER witnessed such an unprofessional display from any employee anywhere. She then began conversing with another employee, and said something about people having an attitude. Clearly she was speaking about herself, behaving like a petulant 5 year old. I asked for the manager, and sadly, she said to me that she was the manager. When I asked who her manager was, she replied, "I don't know who that is", at which point I inquired of another employee, who was VERY pleasant, as to how I could speak with the manager's boss. The young woman proceeded to give me what I needed to speak with someone about my experience. I apologize for not naming names, but I don't recall seeing name tags. However, I'm sure I gave enough info for whoever deals with matters like this to figure out who was involved. My family, some of who were present with me at the time of this occurrence, will never patronize this Dunkin...
Read moreI went to get my daily iced coffee and I had never been to this location and will never return a African American with black hair and short bangs on her forhead thought it was acceptable to hand me my coffee leaking and with the coffee exploding out as fore she had filled it all the way to the top she wiped some off with a napkin and handed it to me like nothin was wrong with it I asked the girl would you accept this if it was for you she responded with a nasty smirk that what I wanted her to do and I told her can you please spill some out and put a new cap on it she gave it back to me looking the same way with coffee still all over the cup and put the same cap on I asked for more napkins to clean it myself I asked her for another cap and she said would you like two more and walked away as the other girl standing there took my cup and fixed my drink after all this other girls nasty attitude has already happened this is just terrible service and will be reported to corporate if they don’t wanna work then can go find a job that specializes in...
Read moreI'm hoping that someone one in ownership of the Dunkin in Oak Park, IL on Madison sees this. Almost everytime I come to this location there is always something. If it's not the employees having quarrels with each other right in front of customers, it's the rude condescending attitudes of the workers. Today, 3/30/23 at approximately 7:15pm in the drive thru the person was such a jerk I didn't even order.
I placed my order saying, "I would like a medium, Carmel and Mocha swirl with cream only." I have been coming to Dunkin for over a decade been to hundreds of locations and alway order in this matter. The only common response back is, "would that be hot or iced?". The person on today's visit says to me, "I don't know what you're asking for. You just said a bunch of flavors, I don't know you personally." And proceeds to talk to me like I'm stupid. I really didn't appreciate that. People have to do better in customer service.
