Please do not dine here if you and your family are hungry. you will have a wait time of 2 hours+. I would recommend pick up. The wait for the dine in has to be the worse. As I waited here I was told to use the mobile app to order our food, I had a family of 5. Mid way tru the line yes there is a line to a restaurant just like waiting in a line for a ride at the park you get to enjoy the same experience here but with family members saying there hungry. Now as we moved along the line they had things to see and interact with they also had a counter that I noticed with cashiers and a menu that looked like you can order. When I asked 1 of the 10 employee that were behind the counter, obviously not doing anything but talking with them selfs and trust me you will have plenty of time to observe this. As they stand and talk to each other on there phones not interacting at all with the crowed of customers that are infront of them. You would ask your self wow I wonder how much is universal paying these people to be here not doing a thing?. Now I asked one of them if I could place a order with them? they looked at me with surprise like I noticed they were there. hard to miss buddy. They then told me oh no they dont take orders you can use the app to order and scan the barcode on the table and your order would be right out. Thats right you can scan the bare code dont even need a waiter to ask for your oder here people. I really would like to know what's the purpose of the people behind the counter then??? Anyway when we got to our table, yes you do have to scan that barcode. Or you will be sitting for a while because no one will ever come to you or even greet you if you need assistance. So I scan the code and waited another 30min for my food. Then you finaly get to see someone who works there but oh no they can't talk to you when you ask a question they stay quiet and hurry off as they drop of your food. They did not even give me silver where to eat with my food. I then had to go and hunt one down to get forks and spoons so that my family can eat. This is outrageous I never ever been subjected to this type of service in any restaurant. Please do...
Read moreToadstool Cafe in Epic Universe's Super Nintendo World is an absolute must-do for any Nintendo fan and even those just looking for a fun and unique dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're completely immersed in the whimsical world of the Mushroom Kingdom. The decor is spot-on, with vibrant colors, playful designs, and even "windows" that offer animated views of Toads bustling about and classic Mario scenery. The theming extends to the menu, which is packed with creative dishes named after iconic elements from the Super Mario games. I had the Mario Burger, and it was surprisingly delicious – a juicy patty with savory mushrooms, bacon, and cheese on a brioche bun, served with truffle fries. My friend tried the Bowser's Fireball Challenge, a massive one-pound meatball that definitely lives up to its fiery name with a hint of spice. We also couldn't resist the Question Mark Block Tiramisu, which was as adorable as it was tasty. What truly elevates the experience is the attention to detail. You can see Chef Toad and other Toads "cooking" in the virtual windows, and little animations play out that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Even ordering through the mobile app was seamless, and the food was brought to our table quickly. While it can get a bit noisy and the lighting is somewhat dim to enhance the immersive atmosphere, these are minor points in an otherwise fantastic dining adventure. Toadstool Cafe isn't just about the food; it's about the entire experience of stepping into the world of Super Mario. Be prepared for a potential wait, as this spot is understandably popular, but it's well worth it for the unique and delightful meal you'll have. If you're visiting Epic Universe, make sure Toadstool Cafe is on your list – you won't be...
Read moreToadstool Cafe was a disaster for me and many others. I came to dine in, but there were a ton of disgruntled people complaining about the app and online ordering not working. We walked into a line leading out the door due to the chaos and the fact that they only have two registers. Once we got halfway down, an employee told everyone that they could not order without first going to the dining area to get a table number, after which they needed to go back in line to tell the cashier. I left my party to get a table number, where the employee in the dining area told me I could not leave the table. This proved to be an apparent miscommunication in the restaurant. The miscommunication continued with my party at the register, with the cashier saying they were out of certain items and the manager stating otherwise. My party ordered and discovered they were incorrectly charged for collectible drinks rather than standard cups. I went to try to rectify the issue, but was told that I had to get back in line because the issue could only be solved at the register. Fortunately, I was able to be refunded for the incorrect charge. Soon after all of the problems, they stopped accepting customers due to other issues. Other than the bad, the employees were very attentive and friendly, the inside was mesmerizing, and the Mario burger was delicious. One concern with the Mario burger is that they put a mustache print on the bun, which stained our fingers for hours. For this experience, I have to give them three stars. In ideal conditions, however, I can see them being...
