KFC — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

I want to say first off the management is the complete problem at this specific kfc!! I do not know if there is the same management right now as there was when I came because I have not been back since my horrible experience!! But when I went in and stood in line to wait for my turn at the register the first thing that caught my attention was not the decor or the food smell it was the over weight rude manager cussing at one of the female employees!!! I could not believe that I heard clearly the words fk and a! The circumstances in detail were not clear, but I heard him say "then go the fk home I dont need to argue with your dumb a!!!!! The girl looked around at the fellow employees who just turned their heads and did not say a word!!! As if this kind of behavior was normal!! The resturaunt fell silent as the young girl obviously upset and confuzed grabbed her jacket and items and left crying! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ENJOY A SIT DOWN MEAL AFTER THAT!!!??? I was dwelling on the situation so much that I had not heard the other young woman who was running the register trying to get my attention! My first words were "why did he speak to her like that?" What I heard next blew my mind!! She said to me "Oh, she didnt know how to lable the buffet foods, and asked him to show her,.....but she should have known how, and she knows hes not in a good mood today!!" WHAT!!!??? i then asked well how long has she worked here?" The girl then replied "oh i think like almost two weeks!!" The girl was new!!?? Where am I I thought???? Some foreign third world country?? Where young women are abused and degraded for asking how to do their job correctly?? I left without ordering and was so distraugt over all of this that a week later I called the main company to file a complaint and the man I spoke with said there was no number for that and if I wanted to file a complaint I had to do so In person at the place where it occured!!!! so I would have to go to the store manager who did this disgraceful act and tell him to his face that what he was wrong and ask him to punish himself??? Yea right.... So I asked about the young girl who had left so upset and was told that she was fired but the reason could not be disclosed to me. Pretty much I probably would never go back and eat there for fear that my children might hear or see some crazy situation of emotional abuse! To the young woman who was fired If you ever read this please reply with a reveiw and a phone number I would love to speak to you about what happened that day. And I am sorry I couldnt do...

Blood borne pathogens and open wound! After still not having moved or ordered, and waiting about 30 min in the drive thru for 1 vehicle to order, and 2 others in front of me that had been waiting the same amount of time as I, I pulled up to the parking area. Having decided that maybe it would Be faster to order at the counter seeing as how the lobby was completely empty. However I was very wrong. I waited another 10 min to be attended to and standing at the register while being looked at multiple times. I finally was able to put in my order. While waiting, a young man with a foul mouth and a terrible attitude, meandered about lost and confused.. then started making mashed potatoes, I had ordered a famous bowl. (We all know that’s comprised mainly of potatoes).. and I noticed after he swore very loudly and winced in pain that he had sliced his hand open on something and was bleeding, and had multiple bandaids on his fingers.. I ask why he wasn’t wearing gloves!? And the manger I assume walked past me and nonchalantly stated they aren’t required to wear gloves! To Which I stated, “even while bleeding with open wounds!” She went back and asked him if he had a wound he verified he was bleeding and she shrugged her shoulders and went back towards the cust. Bathrooms and he continued to mix food.. I had been waiting another 15 min in total to recieve my famous bowl.. she proceeded to hand it to me and I declined.. needless to say, I asked for my money...

I usually don't do this but I waited in line for over 20 minutes to get my order taken for some tenders. At about 5 minutes in 2 guys come out the back door laughing it up, light up 2 cigs and get down to smoking. Funny thing they lock themselves out, both guys walk around the building and come out the back door and start smoking. By this time I just want to see what else happens and how long this is going to take. Anyway someone pulls up and parks and starts blaring some base, the 2 guys walk over and star laughing, dancing, and just get down. Mind you they are in uniform and have aprons on. This goes on for a good 10 minutes, I still haven't even ordered yet......there is 2 cars in front of me and 3 behind. The guy giving his order is as much a n idiot as the employees parting in the lot.....at least they come back to the back door and light up another, music car leaves. I finally get my order in. 20 minutes to give my order. I wait another 10 to get to window, this side is boring except for the person trying to reverse park, this probably takes up 5 minutes of the wait. Finally I get up to window pay the guy, I think the 2 guys out back finally come in cause he is telling them they left him alone with the new girl. I get my food, no apology, no thank you, no nothing. Oh well I'm not mad I found it entertaining to see that manager get managed by 2 of his employees. Oh ya the food was hot and good, one of the few times I have gotten fresh tenders...
