I'm reposting this review because it appears to have been removed and the owner has responded to many of the recent reviews but not to mine. I believe this review deserves immediate attention especially from a professional establishment. Removing it with no acknowledgement feels as if my experience is being dismissed or worse, condoned.
APRIL 29TH After a 17-hour road trip with my family, exhausted and just minutes from our Orlando resort, I specifically searched for one of the cleanest Popeyes locations based on reviews. We usually fly, but this time we took a road trip to try something different. All I wanted was to grab a quick, solid meal to bring back and feed my very hungry family of five.
Instead, I got one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had.
The drive-thru speaker was barely functional. They couldn’t hear a word I said. When I asked to place my order at the window, I was told flat-out, “We can’t take orders at the window,” which makes absolutely no sense if your intercom system doesn’t work. It was about 40 minutes before closing; plenty of time, and I was ready to place a large order.
When I asked about the quantity of included pieces, trying to find a large meal option, I guess she was tired of my three questions, questions I could’ve easily missed on the menu, being as exhausted as I was. Her response? “Can’t he read? It’s right on the menu.” That’s the level of professionalism I got. They spoke back and forth with each other, over the intercom with annoyed tones, while I inquired about my options. Completely uncalled for. It honestly felt like they were pretending not to hear me just to avoid doing their job.
I came ready to spend money. But clearly, they didn’t care; maybe because they don’t see a dollar of it. This location dragged a normally calm man completely out of character. I don’t know what kind of leadership allows this level of disrespect and laziness.
I truly wish those workers well in life and hope they find something they’re actually passionate about, because clearly, food service isn’t it. But please, don’t carry that attitude with you. I work for a corporate company that would never accept anything even close to this behavior.
Bottom line: I traveled far out of my way for this Popeyes based on reviews, and I regret every...
Read moreI have give this location 3 tries, all 3 experience has been awful with NO exceptions.
The first time the chicken was dry and the fries old & dry.
The second time, the lady at the microphone could understand me and I couldn’t understand what she was saying. After repeating my order 5 times, I decided to go to the microphone, I am a naturally polite & respectful person, they refuse to take my order and asked me to go to the microphone even if there were 7 cars behind me. I stayed at the window and asked for The manager. The manager was incredibly rude & unprofessional so I left.
Tonight, the 3rd terrible experience, we are 4 cars, I am the one at the microphone it is exactly 9:13PM
A lady answers to take my order, I give them my order, there is a moment of silence, I ask “hello” is someone there, after about 2 minutes someone says to me sorry we are close.
The lady behind me says “ I am a Uber driver and I have 2 orders”
So I decided once again to drive up the window, I literally been yelled at we’re close. But all hours online and on the website precise we are open until 10pm but it’s 9:13pm
This location definitely does Whatever they wants. My husband & I are big foodies and travel the world, eating is a pleasure of life!
Let’s be honest Popeye’s chicken is for from being healthy and being a delicacy but, once in a while because it is close to our home and on a quiet Sunday night we feel to eat something quick & affordable and that taste “ok”
The management / owners of this place needs to step up their manners & bad behaviours
I wish & hope that this review will reach out as MANY people as possible
DON’T go to this location, please !
They are disrespecting, rude & everything is definitely VERY MUCH BELOW...
Read moreVery poor service. Was told when i ordered that they were out of spicy chicken for a moment. Really they were out of reg chicken. The person that took my order, took mine the person behind me , and then disappeared. After a couple of minutes, this new person comes out and asked. "What did i ordered?" I told him, then he asked the person behind me the same question. He gets the other person's food. Then tells me that they are out of reg chicken, but it will take 10 minutes for it, i told him that it would be fine. He starts to go into the back and help the drive thur. Not worrying about the the 3 people that have been waiting to order. Came out of the food perp area the tellme again the they were starting to make the new batch of regular chicken. I told him that would be fine. And then i told him about the other customers that still haven't ordered. He places their orders, gets their orders. And then asks me what did i ordered for a 3rd time. Then he gets my chicken from the cook's area. Stops to get fries and i have to tell him again my order. He asked me if i wanted fries and i told him no. Just wanted my order. No more , no less. This took over 25 minutes for a 3 piece reg chicken meal with dirty rice and a biscuit. Someone needs to train the help better. A chicken restaurant that runs out of reg chicken. For over 25 minutes is just not right . And the whole time no management to even check out what's going on . And it wasn't rush hour , this...
