After being regular dominos eaters, a friend of ours had ordered a pizza for my fiancee and I, and it was a great experience. The pizza was everything we had hoped for and more, and while the service/delivery was mediocre, we didn't care once we had the food. So tonight, at around 11:30pm we were wondering what we could order for late dinner, and decided to go with Papa Johns because of the great food we had last time. I had put the order in at 11:48pm, and the estimate was at 12:25am at latest. Okay great. 12:25am comes and goes, and at 12:30am Im thinking just give it a few more minutes because I ordered a lot of food. By 12:50 I decided to call the store and find out what was going on, as the "order tracker" said my driver left around 15 minutes prior, and I'm only 8 minutes down the street. While talking to the lady who answered - who didn't even give me her name, and refused to when I asked, she was very short and continued to cut me off, before asking for my phone number. When I explained to her that I was without a phone right now, she laughed and said "You're complaining about your driver not being there yet, but how is he supposed to get ahold of you?". This completely baffled me. I explained to her that I had left precise directions as to where my hotel room is. She just replied with a simple "if you say so", and then continued to explain that the driver took another order and "should be there in like 15 minutes I guess, but you should have expected it to take a while since you ordered so late". At this point I was too frustrated to explain to her that I had placed my order over an hour before closing. 15 minutes came and went, and my pizza finally got here at 1:02am (I had placed my order at 11:48pm, and it was out at 12:21am). The delivery guy smelled like pot. Once inside and checking the food, we were disappointed in the pizza. Read moreUpdate: Avoid the OBT location. I ended up contacting the Papa Johns on Turkey Lake and let them know about the experience at the OBT location (they weren’t surprised at all). Chris took my order over the phone was extremely empathetic and apologized on behalf of the Papa Johns company. I ended up driving to this location and Ernest the manager ended up making my order at his location free of charge! I will be driving 15 minutes out of my way to order from this location from now on and will NEVER order from OBT location again!
Original: If I could give this place a NEGATIVE - 5 stars I would. The most unprofessional Papa Johns I have ever dealt with. First time I ever ordered from here the pizza NEVER ARRIVED! I had to call the next day and ARGUE with the manager who said that they never got an order from me then changed the story to “they tried calling me” how about knocking on my door? MY SECOND attempt at this location was suppose to be contactless delivery per my online order. The driver (Cory) waited at the door until I opened it even though I had a stool outside for the pizza to be placed on. He waited till I opened the door and handed me the receipt with a pen during a NATIONAL PANDEMIC and then handed me the pizza once I signed the receipt (I’m pretty sure it was to ensure a tip). Read moreWe waited 3 hours for a pizza delivery. I first placed an order online. After an hour we were wondering where was the pizza. The order said returned, we called the store to ask what happened since we never got a text or call from the driver. We had instructions for the driver to call us when they arrived so we can meet them in the lobby. The store said they wasnt sure since the driver wasnt back, they offered to make us a new pizza, confirmed our order and phone number. They said they were going to send another driver. Mind you the papa johns was only 8 mins away. They were suppose to call us when the driver headed out. We called back after 45 mins. (2 hours) they said that they were waiting for the driver still. We said forget it, we will pick up the pizza instead. At that moment they said the driver had just arrived, that they will be heading out now. We said okay.. we will wait again. We wait again (3 hours now) we call back to ask what the heck is going on, they said they had the wrong phone number.. when they had my number since i called 3 times, plus they read back the number to confirm when we reordered.
