I visited this establishment again on 10/29/23. Just one of the many times I'd eaten there. It was the second year I'd gone there to celebrate my birthday. I had a party of eight. I ordered Buffalo shrimp, rotisserie chicken w/mashed potatoes and asparagus, honey butter cornbread, and a strawberry Doli to drink. DELICIOUS to say the least!!! The service lacked though. I think some of the servers were late or didn't come to work. Our food was late. We didn't get the water we ordered until after we finished our meals. I don't know if the server failed to order my drink correctly or if whoever was at the bar didn't have the order written down but my drink had to go back because it didn't have the strawberry flavoring. That required another long wait. He brought my drink back but then I spilled some of it trying to pick it up from where the server placed it. He did not offer me another one. I guess I should have asked but why would I have to? He was standing right there looking at me when it happened. Then the server disappeared for a very, very long time. We sat at the table an extra 30-45 minutes after we finished eating waiting for the check then had to have the server make corrections. Then the gratuity was $100. Service is part of the experience so when establishments charge for gratuity like they delivered perfectly, that makes me think less of the business. After all, they thought less of us by charging gratuity according to the number of people at the table and not according to the level of service delivered. Poor service at a large table means that you delivered poor service to more people at the same table. Why should I have to mention the substandard service? You know when you have a server that can't handle large tables. If you're going to set an amount on gratuity according to the number of people at a table you should have a server or servers who can deliver service that is worthy of the gratuity you want. Gratuity is gratitude for the food AND the service not just for the pleasure of being there. Don't think the restaurant was crowded, it wasn't. There were plenty of empty tables. Maybe our server was inexperienced. He certainly gave me the impression that he was. I'll visit Red Stone again for their food for sure but I'll speak up next time if I experience...

I loved the food. The service was amazing! My group ordered the wings appetizer(fried) and the cauliflower. I liked them both, but we asked for our wings to be Buffalo, which is an option. The sauce is really NOT Buffalo in the traditional sense. It had a sweet and tangy flavor. I would liken their “Buffalo” sauce to more of a honey bbq. I still thought they were good, but was expecting Buffalo sauce. We chose to sit on the patio because it was such a nice day. I wouldn’t do that again. They need to put out some of those candles to keep flies away because there were so many gnats flying around it ruined the dinner experience. One almost flew into my mashed potatoes. One landed on my sister’s straw. It was too much. I always suggest restaurants with patios put out something to keep bugs away. Yes. I know it’s outdoors, bugs are outdoors. But if you want to provide an outdoor area for eating where your customers aren’t swarmed by bugs, you gotta put something out there. That and the not Buffalo sauce lost this place a star. I ordered the rotisserie chicken entree. Which was a very nice size portion. The chicken was juicy and not dry. I normally don’t eat white meat because it’s always dry, but there’s was spot on! My sister ordered the half rack of ribs and enjoyed every bite! She didn’t like her sangria though. It was supposed to have some strawberry purée and there just wasn’t enough to taste any hint of strawberry. I tried it and the wine they use must not be sweet. It was a more dry wine. So the wine choice plus not having a fruity taste made it less reminiscent of a sangria. When I think sangria I think wine with fruit and you can taste subtle hints of the sweet, fruity, flavor. This had none of that. I ordered the whiskey me away lemonade which I loved. My sister said she should’ve ordered that! LOL She doesn’t like sending things back or asking for too much, so she just kept her drink and didn’t touch it. Overall, I would come back here, for sure. I just would not a) sit outside again or b)order that...

Leaving an updated review, the last time I was here was on my wedding day. The last couple times I was here i put down it was for a special occasion since they request that info from you and both times it was ignored. Generally that's not a huge deal, but this time 3 in our party got sick from the food. We ordered drinks and appetizers and while the apps tasted fine, the dishes we were given were literally all dirty, all 9 of them. Not water stains but actual chunks of food left on the plates. One of the drinks came out with coconut, an order we had requested and repeated back to us. This was an allergy for the person who ordered. Then the entrees came out, and one of the people who got sick mentioned it tasted off (they previously ordered this same dish from redstone). When I called to inform the restaurant that 3 in our party of 9 got sick, they said something along the lines of "not saying you're lying, but our food is of the highest quality and it takes at least 24 hours for food-born illnesses to incubate." While this is not the response I expected, she asked if she should file some kind of paperwork stating that we had gotten sick, and I said yes because we did. She ultimately said we would get a call back for more information and we never did. Sometimes restaurants can't anticipate people getting sick, but the way this was handled when i called to basically say I'm reporting this so it hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else on such an important day to me, I don't know. It completely grossed me out and I wouldn't recommend.

Original review: I had a very nice time here. David was our server and was very knowledgeable about pairings and was very attentive, A+ customer service. Although I dont think I would order the steak from here again, the ambiance, customer service, and other dishes they had made up for it. The cookie sundae is huge and honestly one of the best desserts I've had from a restraunt. Same goes for the Mushroom soup. Overall had a really nice time and...

Food was mediocre to say the most. We had the Buffalo Shrimp as an appetizer. Comes with 3 jumbo shrimp, we were fresh the other VERY fishy. Husband had a meal named Bang Bang Pork, his comment, umm not good. Tasted very Asian but came with garlic mashed potatoes. It was a strange combination. Also the potatoes had no salt, no garlic, no flavor. We had the house salad which we both liked, except it was sparse on dressing, when I say sparse I mean almost none. I had the Beef Wellington, made perfectly. I had the double, so one had a good amount of mushrooms and the other had almost none. Consistency seems to be an issue here. We had a great glass of Cabernet from Washington. 2 cups of coffee which were good and dessert. We had vanilla cake with slices of watermelon, cream cheese frosting with fruit on top and almonds. We were told it was taking a long time to make our cake. Hmm ok, well I think she meant defrost. The cake was hard to cut thru and it was extremely dense and chewy. The frosting which normally I love was very heavy and thick. Over all it was passable. We wont be going back. Service was busy, so we didnt get a lot of attention, had to ask others to get our waitress. Also, the 1st plates we were served for our shrimp were dirty.

The highlight of my recent visit was the Tuna Stack, an eclectic fusion of Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, and Mango that seemed to teleport my taste buds to a coastal paradise. The cucumber added a refreshing twist while the Spicy Thai Sauce played a tantalizing game of hide-and-seek with my senses. What deserves special mention is the sprinkling of Green Onion, Black & White Sesame Seeds which not only added an aesthetic flair but also brought a unique textural crunch to the dish. And the Sriracha Aioli? It was the silent hero, binding all the elements together with its subtle spice. The Fried Wonton Chips served alongside were no mere spectators. They were the perfect vessels, carrying this rich medley of flavors straight from the plate to my palate, leaving me wanting for more. If you’re on a quest to discover a restaurant with patio seating in Oak Brook that serves outstanding food, search no more. The patio at Redstone American Grill offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying these culinary marvels while basking in the Oakbrook Terrace’s charm. So go ahead, reserve your table at Redstone American Grill, and embark on an unforgettable gastronomical journey. You won’t be disappointed.
