I recently dined at Camille’s, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience that captured the essence of authentic Italian cuisine.
To start, I ordered the Fritto Misto, which featured perfectly fried calamari, succulent shrimp, pepperoncini, and zucchini. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, with the seafood cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside. The combination of the ingredients was harmonious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality.
As an appetizer, the meatballs were rich and flavorful, bursting with herbs and spices that transported me straight to my grandmother's kitchen. They were the perfect start to my meal, setting a high standard for what was to come.
For my main course, I indulged in the lasagna, which was layered beautifully with fresh pasta, a hearty sauce, and a perfect blend of cheeses that melted in my mouth.
What I appreciated most about Camille’s is that it embodies fine dining without being gimmicky. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for any occasion. The attention to detail in both the food and the service truly sets this restaurant apart.
Overall, Camille’s is a gem that any Italian food lover must visit. Whether you're indulging in the Fritto Misto or savoring the authentic meatballs and lasagna, you are in for a culinary treat that honors the rich traditions of Italian cuisine. I can't...
Read morePhenomenal! Camille’s serves two purposes… elevated, casual, clean, fresh Italian dining experience as well as a go-to pizza / Italian dinner delivery. You can’t go wrong dining in, Becuase the food is absolutely delicious, however it’s also the perfect spot to pickup a true New York style pie and a few dishes to eat at home.
The ambiance is very cozy and casual, yet refined so you feel as is you’re in a fresh new restaurant that’s comfortable, you can bring your kids and not worry as the owners Maya and John are very hospitable and the staff makes sure you have everything you need.
For dinner we started with the meatballs and fire roasted bread for dipping into the delicious red sauce…. The perfectly done meatballs were juicy, tender and well complimented by the crispness of the fresh brick oven bread.
The wild mushroom parpadelle is RIDICULOUS! The mushroom variety used is so unique, and the sauce is borderline addicting.
Linguini with clams, again elevated and served with beautiful, sizable clams in an ample portion.
Topped off with the pinwheel sausage and broccoli raab, which was unique from the traditional sausage / raab dishes as it was served with a pesto onion/ pepper garnish which elevated the flavors and brought them together.
I will be going back regularly, fantastic (and much needed) addition to the Italian fare in the area, if not for the...
Read morei came because the google reviews were quite high, I got a grandmas slice and a pepperoni slice. They weren’t bad! They were good with flavor, the bread of the pizza, it just needed more sauce. Everyone was super warm. The only reason for the hard review is each slice is $5 …and the pizza didn’t have much sauce to make it satisfactory. The grandmas slice really stood out with the crust, but the small amounts of tomato really made it feel like overly-fancy cheesy bread. Pepperoni didn’t have much sauce either. I get it times are tough, but if you’re charging a premium for pizza I need to be either full or blown away with flavor after $10 left my wallet. I used to be able to buy a large pepperoni pizza for $5 at Mario’s Pizza in Hamilton Ontario. A country where things are notoriously expensive. So I am a little upset I had to pay $10 and then tip ..that’s heavy
Your menu looks good but the walk-in pizza really broke my heart. I wanna come back try a real meal and hopefully change my mind but I wanna leave this review so you guys can get the chance to work on it, everyone...
