I have to give a huge shoutout to this bb.q Chicken as they are top tier, best service, and just amazing human beings. This is a long story, so buckle up...

Back in Dec 2024 I was taking my family to pick up our dinner from this bb.q Chicken location and our car stalled out about halfway there. My mother-in-law (visiting from the Philippines), wife, and two children were stranded in our disabled vehicle on the roadside while I figured out the tow, logistics (our second car was back at home, not too far away), and coordinated everyone. In the midst of all that was bb.q Chicken. I have to say, despite terrible circumstances, they really showed up and delivered for my family (quite literally!). After a lot of frantic calls, back and forth, and general stress, the bb.q Chicken staff offered to deliver our dinner to our home. To my relief (and after a really terrible, stressful evening), the staff delivered our dinner safe and soundly. I can't emphasize enough how amazing, awesome, and human the staff was - despite our circumstances, they showed up, delivered our food, and absolutely went above and beyond to help us out in a time of need.

I know that doesn't say much about the food - it was excellent after some reheating, and even then, it was a minor miracle to be even eating it in the first place since we live ~30 miles away.

Speaking of the quality - not impacted whatsoever. A little time in the air-fryer made it perfect crispiness, and we also came back as a family (in a functioning vehicle) to enjoy about a month later. No change in quality - always the same crisp, juicy, delicious bb.q Chicken we've come to love and expect. If you want to find your favorite fried chicken and K-food spot, look no further because this is it.

Their taste started to change already compared to the genuine taste of the korean friend chicken brand BBQ Chikcen. I've been visiting this place since the grand open easily 10 times, and the taste has changed dramatically in a bad way.

When they opened, it was exactly the taste I would have from Korea, especially for the Golden Original aka 황금 올리브. But all that flavor and taste disappeared and tastes like a completely different chicken brand. At best, it's more like well made version of KFC at US. Why do you do this :')

Compared to the actual Korean franchise menu, the Golden Original now tastes saltier with some random spicy flavor(speechless). The original flavor disappeared as well.

Also, the Hot Spicy isn't spicy anymore. Just sweet. Why are you doing this to the menus?

OK, following up on my previous review. Went back for the second time within a week, got some different items. In particular, the Caribbean spice boneless wings were outstanding and while not overly hot, it was nice to have some ranch dressing with it.

What sets this place apart from its competitors is the crispiness of their boneless wings. There’s a crunch to it, the pieces are chicken, thighs or breast, and the portions are huge. This is definitely better than your local Wingstop or BW-3, I highly recommend BB.Q Chicken.

One bit of feedback - would love to see 1-2 more items with a “2 flame” rating … gimme something hot that won’t destroy me. Thanks BB.Q Chicken,...
