WEBSITE REVIEW. I order from the web and have a subscription for only one type of their coffee. It’s amazing but we have ordered other mediums and they’re BURNT AND DARK. Not even close to medium. To add insult to injury- they say u can send it back ON UR OWN DIME for a refund even though we already have to pay for shipping. They don’t reward loyal customers and we spend $100+ per order and we don’t even get free shipping. To make matters worse, I have to email them each time for the UPS tracking bc they don’t add it to the email or ur account. The shipping is slow AF even tho I pay $10 for it. U can literally pack it in a USPS flat rate for a 2-3 day ship for a discounted business rate. After I had to email again for my tracking, I decided to write this and I’m just going to cancel my future orders. It’s the principle of the laziness of this business.
I’m just over this company. After the amount we have spent to support it, they really have a lack of business acumen to show any appreciation to loyal high spenders. We never get a discounted code, free shipping for at least a subscription account that has $100+ and to tell customers to ship back coffee on their own dime...
Read moreI have been going here for a year specifically for the preparation of chai. It's good. However their customer service is WACK. Over the past year I have witnessed certain behaviors displayed by the personnel in the storefront that showed signs of preferenceover certain customers. Today I had a double experience. Lol 2 of the employees made uncomfortable remarks to me. The first one is a tall girl. She might be in her mid 20s but she usually runs the register. For the last 3 months she's be calling me "creepy"..which is weird to tell a loyal customer. The 2nd one I am not familiar with but today she yelled at me ..in front of other customers.. "try not to scare any kids " ...which is weird also to tell a customer. Im not sure why a business asking for customer support wants chase away it's customers but they successfully did this one. I do give them one star for their chai and another star for the majestic creature with the fire red pelt and whome wears the Seal of Solomon as she has always displayed a wonderful greeting. Read moreOn a good note, the weekly specialty drinks there are seem to be really good. At least the one I had was. However The lack of urgency just makes me feel like they don't even understand coffee drinkers or really value their customers very much.
It's bad enough when they open late, but the staff operates at an absolute snails pace, they're really not even nice about it. It takes 10-15 minutes to get an espresso drink, and that's all they do. They're not making sandwiches or anything else. Just coffee drinks.
Besides the inordinate amount of time it takes to get a drink, the other reason I won't be back is that they refused to make a specialty drink for me just because it was no longer that week's special. They did not even offer to try up with something similar. I could understand if they didn't have the ingredients anymore but to not even try to offer an alternative? Or maybe they just don't do custom drinks? idk. Anyway, I'm sure they won't miss my...
