North Beach Sandwicheez — Restaurant in Oakland

This place has really good Sandwiches! Coming here for the first time I decided to try "Italian Wedding " which was absolutely delicious made with fresh sourdough bread! Very unique and tasty menu of Sandwiches I definitely encourage getting "The Works" with ur sandwich for added flavor! Place is small no seating inside and it was raining that day so no outside seating. No take home menu only online Sandwiches a little small for price but definitely worth the flavor and customer service! I will be back to try...

The first time I came here, it was great but the last couple of times, the sandwiches have gotten smaller and increased in price. Not just that but my sandwiches are hard as a rock, difficult to bite into. The bread is over toasted making the bread hard to bite and fighting with the bread just to get a bite. Feels like a "real deli". The storefront is only big enough for 3 or 4 people, otherwise you'll be standing in line out the door. I was shocked by how low the prices were, but it made more sense after seeing the size of the sandwiches - still a good value though. Pizza by the slice was good as well (definitely not gourmet, though). A good choice for lunch in the Oakland...
