A special local coffee cafe with good coffee and tasty breakfast sandwich. I ordered a delicious breakfast sandwich with egg, spinach (generous portion), and ooey gooey melted Swiss cheese on an English muffin. Folks here go above and beyond. I had my breakfast and coffee in the cafe. Friendly guy at the register made my coffee in a mug and brought to my table. When I asked for half and half he steamed a little and added to my drink. This is a pleasant, friendly oasis in the food desert that surrounds Laney College. I have been stopping by this place for their delicious coffee and excellent breakfast and lunch sandwiches since they opened about six years ago. They know my name and my "usual" coffee order. My favorite for breakfast is the BEST sandwich, one of their delicious breakfast delights with Bacon Egg (seasoned perfectly and scrambled fluffily) Swiss and Tomato. I ordered a double espresso cappuccino. The employee charged me the price for it but gave me an extremely foamy single shot latte size drink. I thought coffee was going to be good since it has a 4.7 star rating but it’s probably for the food they have because coffee was horrible. Don’t go for coffee! Also, the employee literally preferred to act like he was busy rather than take my order or ask if I had any questions and when he was ready to take my order he said, “are you ready?” Should have used that time to just walk out.
