Pho Huynh Hiep 1 - Kevin's Noodle House — Restaurant in Oakland

Service was really bad from the minute we got there. The waitress was eating in front of us. As we're taking order, she would start kidding. around with other employees. Then seat 2 tables from us and watch as we're eating the whole time. before we were done eating, she brought me the check, and then I waited for 15 minutes for them to come get my credit card. when I asked her for box and container for my sauce. Her answer was. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it. Then I finished sighing and filling out the credit car receipt. She came right over and tried to take it from me. I've been to other local like the one in Walnut Creek and Concord. I go there all the time, and the service is great. If this is how the restaurant is going to how to increase treat there customers then I think I will not go to any of the locations ever again. The only reason why I tried this one is up going to my usual place in Oakland it's because it's been great at the other...

So, I've been going to this place in SF for years. I'm so glad that this location had reopened. This place really hit the spot today. I usually get the #2 but the beef stew with egg noodles is also a hit (still gotta try that beef stew at this location [but I'm sure it's delicious]). Don't forget to ask for the chili oil if you like it spicy.

When I saw these reviews about the service, it kinda made me laugh because it's typically how busy pho places are. Parallel to Chinese food restaurants with bomb food. You go for the food, not for the service... Honestly, I don't mind ordering my meal, then being left alone.

Hopefully, they get enough reviews to change their average rating because this place was perfect.

Ordered food to pick up, using Doordash. When I arrive to pick up, and tell them my name, they treat me like I don't belong. Asking, what did you order? I tell them my name on the order, and that isn't good enough. So I have pull out my phone, show them the receipt and the they say, check it to make sure it's correct. Well, if it is what's on the receipt, then it's correct. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but everywhere else I go, it's a quick say my name and here is your food. Will not be going back here, this wasn't the first time. They wouldn't give my friend the food. Sent him in to pick up and he had to come get me.
