I've been visiting the beautiful Bay Area (San Francisco) back in 2010. After that my official time that I got back was in 2021, 2022, last year and this year. Now ever since I got back (2021) I've been to many places and did more things- "you know better you do better " right. Anywho, for the past 3 years I've added an extra place which isn't that far from #SF- #Oakland , now I actually Googled "black owned restaurants in Oakland". I first tried Evertt & Jones Barbeque (which was very basic)- honestly I could've gotten that back in my hometown Brooklyn, NY. ....something told me to continue down further and that's when I "discovered" Jack London Square. Alot of nice restaurants overlooking the water- I love it over there. Since I'm a seafood lover, I happened to went in to Sea Breeze On The Dock. To make a long story short- this is one of my many go-to places in Oakland (bay area). The service is awesome, the workers are friendly and greeted you as soon as you walk-in, the place is always clean, there's free water to serve yourself, they have happy hour, good music, outside seatings. Just the whole atmosphere. Now this particular review is mainly because of his outstanding service. The awesome Greg (don't mean to sound rude or discriminatory way) but he is the Asian guy with the long hair in a bun with glasses- very sweet. He made my day and made me not miss my flight (which I was so worried for) My flight was at 3 to NY and I was staying in Union Square- so go figure. Even though I got there before they opened, he chatted with me and welcomed me to go on and sit down inside while waiting for them to open (that sun was serious). Of course I was the first customer - after he took my order, I didn't even wait 30 mins. for my orders (which he specifically made himself). He was such a gentleman and I always observed him when I visit this establishment- he's always welcoming not only to me but to other customers, friendly and always smiling. I'm glad they have him, I think if he wasn't there I'd probably missed my flight . Now one of my favorite dish is their Hawaiian Style Jumbo Shrimp Over Garlic Noodles with their cheese on top, (extra spicy cause I love spicy foods), you can get it non-spicy too if you want. Also, they have Hawaiian Style Lobster Tails (DOUBLE Tail) Over Garlic Noodles- I rather with the shrimp instead . Again even if you're not a seafood lover, which they have other tasty dishes on their menu- you will, I mean you won't regret it. From service to ambiance, to cleanliness to tasty foods- please visit this establishment when you're in...

The restaurant is located on a pier overlooking the San Francisco Bay, so you can enjoy stunning views while you eat.
I had the opportunity to dine at Seabreeze On The Dock recently, and I was very impressed with the food. I started with the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious marinara sauce. For my main course, I had the Cod PO Boy, which was also excellent. The cod was flaky and flavorful, and it was served on a soft French roll with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and tartar sauce. The waffle fries that came with the sandwich were also delicious. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they were perfectly seasoned.
For my drink, I had the mango margarita, which was also delicious. It was made with fresh mangoes and tequila, and it was perfectly sweet and tart. The mango margarita was the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.
The service at Seabreeze On The Dock was also excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. We also appreciated that the restaurant has a large outdoor seating area, which was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather.
Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Seabreeze On The Dock. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, and the mango margarita was the perfect way to top it all off. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great seafood meal in Oakland.

Read moreI'm hoping I can share pictures here. This was more than disappointing. Do NOT get the seafood boil. It was descusting!!!!! It was almost $100 and wouldn't even fill one person. The yellow corn, was gross, not fresh, you could tell it had been froze for some time before thrown into the bag of nasty pre frozen crab legs and sausage of some sort. It seemed like they put everything frozen that was premade in the bag into boiling water. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for them to serve us, and it was just under $100. I'm going to try to post the pictures with this, when we ask for a refund and we were told that he would refund $30 of it. $30 of the $100 that we paid, and that was with water to drink that we had to serve ourselves, we had no napkins. Everything that I'm showing in these pictures is exactly what we were served for. For $100. I asked that if he was only going to give us the $30 refund, if we could at least fill our bellies with a lobster sandwich to split. The man said no. I was upset because this was not okay, I took a picture of this man and then he followed me into the parking lot harassing me to turn around and take a picture of me, all the way to my truck. My son was with me and this was not okay. All we had asked is for something better than what we were served for $100, or even $70, we should have been happy with what we ate. But here is a picture of what we literally were served before and after touching it. For some reason this will not let me...
