Taco Bell — Restaurant in Oakland

TL;DR - Stay away from this Taco Bell. They serve ROTTEN ingredients. Serious health hazard.

I eat at Taco Bell fairly often as it's my favorite fast food chain. I find that they're usually reliable but there are some differences in quality between different locations. However, that didn't prepare me for this visit.

Now I've actually had an odd experience at this Taco Bell before, but it didn't prompt me to leave a review. I was working nearby and about to head back to SF over the bridge, but I had to use the bathroom. I stopped by this Taco Bell and was about to order so I could use the bathroom but the employee claimed that "Gavin Newsom" implemented a policy where people can't use the bathrooms anywhere? It was a strange claim seeing as this was sometime between March and June of 2021 and no such policy existed and I'd used the bathrooms at other Taco Bells in the Bay Area before. So I just left without ordering.

Fast forward to today, I decided I'd give the food here a chance. I knew I might get some sub-par food given the experience I had before, but this was something else. I ordered two spicy potato soft tacos and one bean burrito fresco style. Most of this ended up in the trash. The potatoes had a very unusual crunchy texture, the tortilla tasted off, the beans tasted off, and the lettuce was very clearly past its expiration date. This is absolutely disgusting and totally unacceptable. I stopped eating and threw everything away and ordered food from another restaurant.

I noticed that I was the only one in line at the drive thru so it makes me think that they're having a hard time selling products and not replacing ingredients as the day goes by. Well, it's gonna be hard to sell products that make people sick.

Earnestly, please throw out ingredients that are past their expiration date. Food...

I'm going to start off by saying they are so rude I knocked on the door hoping they would let me in and might have forgot to unlock the door but I understand why they don't unlock the door it's because of the homeless situation in this area but instead of coming to the door to allow me to understand why they did not open the door I had to walk around to the window to drive through I had to cut off cars to find out that the only way I could place an order was through the drive through window and jump in front of other cars who had already placed their order I think they need to come up with a better way to help people that are from out of town that they do not have the doors open to this Taco Bell ever if I was starving I would probably not go back to this Taco Bell it actually put a bad taste in my mouth so I may not eat at Taco Bell ever but I'm sure Taco Bell don't have to worry about me I'm sure they will not go broke for me not eating there but here lately Taco Bell has been a very big disappointment everywhere I go what...

This was One Of The Worst SOO CALLED Fast Food Restaurants that I've EVER EXPERIENCED...I Ordered (2) Burrito Supremes, While I was waiting for My Order I went to My Vehicle which was Parked in Front at the Handicapped Spot. I came Back in and Business started to Pick Up. (Mind You...when I Ordered it was Only Five People in the Restaurant and Myself and Another Disabled Female at the Order Counter) The Woman that Took My Order is the Very Person that I spoke to asking for My Money Back...

The Reason for Asking to have My Money Returned: As it Turned Out When I went to My Car they Called My Number... But I was unaware and it wouldn't Have Been Soo Bad...I would have Waited for A New Order...BUT the Attitude that I received Prompted My Decision...They were (OVERLY RUDE)...
