Walking into outback steakhouse we were greeted by the hostess and felt welcomed. The hostess quickly gave us a table. We noticed that there was very few customers in the restaurant, and this was dinner time. The waitress had only four tables with two people at each table. One couple that had been seated just before us got up, and left without ordering anything. The waitress come to our table, and I thought she was going to ask us what we wanted to drink. Instead she said I'll be with you in a little bit without even taking our drink order or greeting us. After waiting for 20 minutes she finally came back to the table to take our drink order. We ordered Ice tea, and we couldn't tell her anything else because she left. Mumbling something about she had messed up two tables orders. Another server brought us our ice tea, but the problem was there wasn't enough ice in it! So little ice that two minutes later what little ice was in it had melted! I took a sip of the tea and it was still warm! We tried to ask our waitress to bring us some ice, but she did not stop to listen to us. There was now only three tables of customers (including us) she had in her area with just two people at each table. She finally came back and I ordered a rib-eye steak and my husband ordered a full rack of ribs. We waited about another 15 to 20 minutes, and finally received our order. I cut into my steak and it looked okay at first. My husband had to send his ribs back because they were ice-cold in the middle even though they look good. He had pulled apart a couple of the ribs to check them and that's how we found out they were ice-cold and not done. He sent the ribs back and had to wait another 20 minutes and they brought him out the same ribs that he had sent back! So that means that they had reheated the same ribs that were undercooked. The person that brought the ribs out had so much perfume on that it gag me. I took a picture of the ribs because they were the same ribs that he had tore 2 apart and sent back! My husband ask me to continue eating because he didn't want my steak to get cold. After cutting and eating a few bites I noticed that my steak was unevenly cooked. It was medium-rare on one side and raw on the other. I mentioned this to the waitress but she didn't even answer me. My husband sent the ribs back for a second time and told them that he did not want anymore. The baked potatoes was ok, and they deducted my husband's ribs but did not do anything about my Raw steak! The only good thing about this whole experience was the hostess who was so nice and the hostess is why I am still putting two stars. Therefore this changes my previous review from 4 stars to the now update Review of two stars. WOW! what happened to that once delicious meal I used to get there. In the pictures it looks like the ribs are done but they were Cold. It also looks like I have a delicious steak...
Read moreWent there with five people. Every single plate of food was cold. Everything that was fried was fried hard as a rock. One of the plates they plated two dinners for two different people on the same plate. So the last person didn't have a meal. The blooming onion was way overdone and the onion was raw on the inside which probably means they had the heat too high. The coconut shrimp you could break a window with. We complain to the manager. We tried to get through the meal and not waste any of the food but it was terrible so we left a lot of it on the plate. I ordered a filet mignon and it was not cooked correctly. It had to be taken back twice and when I ordered the larger of the two cuts they gave me the smaller one so it had to be taken back and wasted. I got a bunch of gift cards for myself to go out to eat it out back. $250 worth I will not be using them. I will give them away to somebody. Maybe even a homeless person. Maybe they will have more patience with this outback than I did. It was ridiculous. Even the French onion soup was cold. They warned you. Be careful you'll burn yourself. Fat chance it was slightly warmer than room temperature. I lost my appetite fast. I took my steak home to give to my dog and I will not be back. The manager did not do anything to even try to appease us. I don't care if they're short-handed and I don't care. If they've got brand new Cooks then they need to be supervised more. That was the most horrible meal I can remember in a long long time. People don't go there and maybe they'll start getting it right. And it was during the middle of the day. It wasn't like it was a busy rush hour in the evening. There's no excuse for that kind of food coming out of the kitchen. I hope this somehow makes it to headquarters and they get a new restaurant manager. My name is Terrie Towers And I wholeheartedly approve this message! Outback...
