Panda Express — Restaurant in Ocala

We go here for dinner pretty often but they always give us like 2 sauces for like 8 egg roles. So today we did a Mobil order put we wanted all the sauces and extra extra sweet and sour and teriyaki. Got home 30 mins away and have no sauce. Dry egg rolls and dry teriyaki beef. So we called them and the manager working Sunday feb 4,2024 at 6pm was incredibly rude. The most insincere I’m sorry about that. And nothing els. So when we asked what can you do about this(my step dad is to nice, she did not deserve it) she said well maybe we can give u like a egg roll your next time BUT you should have said somthing when they wer packing it. First off that’s not our job second off it’s ur responsibility to get the order right and if it’s not you make it right. Half our dinner is ruined. We said forget your egg roll will talk to the higher ups. She said ok thanks and hung up. Iv been a shift manager in many places and that would never fly. If this is her first time she needs to be taught how to handle customer service otherwise she dosnt deserve her job. No sauces was annoying, but honestly expected. But the “managers” response is what makes me not want to eat there anymore. And we spend 80 every time we go so y’all lost out on a good...

For cafeteria style food the line was awfully long. On person frantically trying to fill orders for both the drive thru and inside customers was doing everything she could to keep up. One person doing checkout who had to open boxes to see what was inside to know what to charge. The person doing checkout was also in charge of providing tiny cups of sauce and filling utensils at the drink station across the dining room. All while a line backed up to the door. Very few tables are available as it is. One of those tables is a large communal high top, half of which was unavailable because the staff has left what looked like new promotional posters sitting there ready to be hung up. The food was uninspired at best. Fried rice was bland (probably why people ahead of us in line asked for so much soy sauce). The broccoli in the beef and broccoli was undercooked. The noodles where stale. Nothing on the menu had a description so if you don't know what's in a dish you are left to ask the frantic server who isn't giving you her full attention or guess based on name and sight alone. With slower service, fewer options, and lower quality food than the rest of the Chinese takeout places I'm not sure what would bring...

Okay I'm writing a 1 star review because we had a little bit of an issue 11/17/18 around 6 PM going on 7 PM

We ordered our food at the drive through and we pulled up to the window we payed and such and the lady tells us to pull up and also mentioned our food would be out to us in 2 minutes.... We sat there and waited for 10 minutes and even gave them extra time to see if they would bring our food to our car.

So eventually my mom got out and went in to see what the problem was and turns out they completely forgot about us the whole time.. They didn't even apologize to her or say they would give us any extra for the wait when we were told 2 minutes and got forgotten and as a side to that the food was cold... since it was just sitting there. Do not tell your paying customers to wait 2 - 4 minutes and then FORGET about them...

Anyone going here if you use the drive through and they tell you to pull up and wait expect a delay or to be forgotten unless you get lucky and they end up bringing your food out..

Very weird we've never had a problem here before until now it doesn't actually matter since we won't be around in Ocala anymore but I would like to bring this to customers attention if they choose...
