Shucker's — Restaurant in Ocala

I was here a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon when passing through. This is more of a bar than a place to eat . . . except it's a bar with no liquor, only beer/wine. The food was good. I got a burger and a pound of shrimp. The server was also the bar tender. She was nice, cute and attentive. The beer prices were cheap. The food was overpriced for what you actually get. The shrimp came in a paper tray. I'd say there were about 6-7 and there is NO WAY it was a pound of shrimp unless it was frozen in a block of ice when weighed. The burger was good, but not for the price. Unfortunately, I deleted the picture before I had a chance to post this. The biggest downside here is the smallest and dirtiest bathrooms I've seen in a place that serves food. There was no way to dry your hands in the men's room ( I mean to dryer, no paper towel dispenser, no nothing. You had to go to bar and grab a paper towel on the way out. There is no toilet seat, someone broke it off. With all that and the loudmouth drunk that sat at the last table by the bathroom, I definitely would skip this place unless you are a local and like all...

Price on oysters was very good - reason for more then 1 star - but I couldn’t keep the fruit flies out of my beer - if I was in conversation- I had to put a napkin and a beer coaster over my glass - and still kept finding fruit flies in - the oysters were very tasty- small but delicious- but it took forever to get - 45 mins plus - maybe 9 people in the bar including me and my sweetheart- and everyone else had food - a bit weird- no sides - very limited menu - not a potato or vegetable in site - I wanted the seafood boil - but not a real boil - it was shrimp- or craw fish - or crab legs - no corn or potatoes or sausages- I don’t get it - I went there for the boil but I was very disappointed to find out nothing was included-so I settled for the oysters - hmmm I would definitely go again if the owner re-evaluate the boil- to include potatoes and corn and sausage -service was efficient- friendly but not personal- it’s fun to interact with staff - not...
