Review of Coral Beef Restaurant and Bar
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Coral Beef Restaurant and Bar, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The menu is impressive, featuring a wide variety of beef dishes that cater to all tastes. I ordered the crab, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seasoning was spot-on, and every bite was a delight. I also appreciated the selection of sides, which complemented my meal wonderfully.
The service was exemplary. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. They made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive, which added to the overall dining experience.
The bar selection is also noteworthy, with a great variety of cocktails, wines, and craft beers. I tried the [ cocktail], and it was refreshing and well-balanced, making it a perfect pairing with my meal.
Overall, Coral Beef Restaurant and Bar exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly...
Read moreWe ate here in September of 2018. It is a good location in a nice Holiday Inn on the OC boardwalk. You have to walk up a large flight of wide steps to get to the restaurant inside. It is a nice hotel. A pool is literally right in the restaurant, We were there for lunch. There were a few people at the bar and only a few eating in the restaurant. The food prices were not that bad really for the amount they gave you (large!). None of us finished our meals. It is not a huge menu. We have no complaints at all about the wait staff. Our major complaint is that the non-alcoholic drink prices are outrageous being like $3.50 for a soda (free refills of course). Come on, it should be $2.50 at most which is still a phenomenal profit.
We had ordered fries, pepperoni pizza, a plain hamburger and chicken quesadillas. All of the food was outstanding except the pizza which was below average compared to other boardwalk pizza. But you really should not go to this type of restaurant for pizza in OC. All in all I would come back here but just order water with the food next time. I have no idea what alcoholic drink prices were but they had to be high based on...
Read moreSLOW and questionable service. I realize I have a bit of unique situation but I had to ask it the tenders and pretzel bites had eggs due to allergies for my kid. The waitress assured us they did, and we should just get something else, without going to look. I asked her to confirm. She went to the back for 1 minute and came back saying the manager said to get something else. As there was still no answer and pretzel bites usually don’t have egg in these types of places I asked to see that manager. For the next 15 minutes our waitress avoided our table and the manager never came back. Eventually we gave up and flagged her to just order other food. When the food came out, (over an hour after our arrival) my kids’ burgers were fine (though clearly from frozen) but mine was charred with a relatively thick. When I mentioned it to the waitress and advised it was not what I was expecting for the money, I was told that they only had two setting on the burgers. I asked her to just take it off the bill and I ended up eating over my other kid’s left over $32 ribs. Those were...
