Sunset Island Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Ocean City

I feel horrible posting this review because the staff was so awesome and friendly, drinks were ok, orange crushes had no taste.

The food was so incredibly awful. The pizza was so greasy, salty, and flavorless. Tacos were not good, quesadilla was.. fine. Just basically a $200 mistake. Not many options on the menu, we learned a lesson- the chef needs to work on the menu and the recipes, really a bummer for such a beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood.

Edit to add that I reached out via email to see if someone from management had anything to say for themselves and have received no reply. So they truly know they can charge these outrageous prices for terrible food and they don’t really care. Hoping more people leave honest reviews for this place as it deserves 0 stars. This place is a hidden gem, a little hard to find, but once we were here we enjoyed sitting outside on the sandbar, live music, and a beautiful view of the bay. The service and food was amazing. We tried the shrimp quesadilla, fish tacos, crab cake tacos, crab dip fries, and a noodle bowl with shrimp. Everything was so delicious!!! Ignore old reviews, that was not our experience at all! Place was a mess with swarms of flies. Saw flies in drinks and bar tenders reach bare hands into drinks to remove flies. Ownership seemed uninterested in helping or addressing the issue. Sad that such a great location is falling a part. Arrogant ownership means terrible bar. Heard owner talk down to both employees and customers....
