We stopped by on our way home to Jacksonville, FL from our weekend stay in Biloxi. I already eyed the donut shop on the way in and was secretly hoping to stop by on the way out! I’m so glad we left early enough to do so. Upon entering, the woman at the front desk greeted us and quickly began taking our order. My husband ordered a sausage kolache (he loved it). I tasted the bread and it was so fluffy and delicious. I ordered a 1/2 dozen to share: chocolate frosted, cinnamon sugar, powdered, old fashioned, and glazed. Drove from my apartment, in St. Martin, by the D’Iberville city limits, over to Tato Nut around 730 this morning b/c I was craving donut holes. I show up and of course, the first time I decide to go there in years, they take days off in the middle of summer?? So, I googled Ocean Springs Donuts, stopped in there, and got more than what I came for! Let me tell you… it was delicious!! And it was very reasonably priced!! Fantastic small business! Reminds me of the shops from when I’ve as growing up before everything went commercial. We ordered a dozen donuts (Bavarian creams, cinnamon rolls, blueberry, sprinkle donuts, apple fritters, and a chocolate long John) and all we’re delicious.
