Disappointed twice in a row for this Chipotle location. I love Chipotle so much that I own stock in it. On my first visit a few weeks ago, my crunchy tacos were so soggy because they didn’t bother to drain the juice from the meat sitting in the metal containers. You know how they grab it with the tongs and then USUALLY shake it over the metal container to drain the excess liquid. There’s a reason people order crunch tacos, they want the crunch! I was so disgusted by it I didn’t eat at Chipotle for a few weeks. I finally decided to go to chipotle again, reluctantly, and I wish I hadn’t. This time, they were not busy at all, so the attention to detail or lack thereof was inexcusable. I ordered two sets of three tacos for my friend and I. The first set lacked meat in some tacos and my friend made a comment about where’s the rest. The employee (possibly lead or manager given she was trying to help everyone that was having issues at one point) didn’t say anything. The second set being made not only did not have enough meat to cover the bottom layer of the taco, it also lacked any of the topics. We made mentioned at the register but again nothing. I don’t think a customer has to make demands or be irate to receive a produce they pay for. As a loyal customer and shareholder, I expect Chipotle to live up to their brand, quality and provide customers with satisfaction. During times like this where everything costs extra, at the very least, we should be receiving what we pay for. Three full tacos, not something mediocre that wasn’t even filling. Needless to say, I won’t be going to Chipotle in a while as it left a poor taste in my mouth. The best part, as we’re eating our tacos disgruntled in the seating area, a women decides to talk about feces loudly. Icing on the cake for a private...
Read moreA few months ago, I wrote an honest review about this Chipotle location expressing my general displeasure with the experience I had. However, my experiences in the last month or so have been fantastic, and it is only right to revisit my previous review, as today I had the best experience I have had at a Chipotle in my life. Customer service is an important part of any business, and at times that can make up for other aspects that the business might lack. Today, Alana showcased what excellent customer service should look like through serving me with a smile, personable conversation, and inquiry to ensure that I was satisfied with my experience. She displayed a perfect example of what great customer service is, and this motivated me to come back to my prior review and provide an update for anyone looking at this location. Chipotle has been heavily criticized as of late, and I would consider myself one to criticize the company in an honest manner as well. However, with my commitment to providing an honest review, it was only right to come back and give another completely honest review about this experience, which was a 10/10. The food was great, but I think that the most important aspect to highlight in this review is the outstanding customer service provided by Alana, and let everyone know that great employees do exist at this location! I hope this review is helpful to the general public and to this Chipotle branch, and if the branch is reading this, Alana is a great employee who takes pride in the...
Read moreA sub-par review on this Chipotle is long overdue, as my family and I have had many sub-par experiences at this location. However, today might just be a new low. For those that are unaware, quantity of simple items in your meal such as rice, beans, cheese, or lettuce, can all be doubled free of charge. As I usually do, I decided to order a bowl with extra rice. However, when I asked the employee for double rice after he had put a measly one serving in my bowl, he looked at me and said “This is all you’re getting today”. I was so baffled I didn’t even argue with him, I was in shock. I proceeded to order the rest of my bowl and left feeling extremely dissatisfied with the service I was provided. The two lone reasons I will return to this location are 1.) proximity to where I live and 2.) to obtain the employee’s name to add to this review, as his poor service deserves to have a name put to it. This is not the first time a poor experience has occurred either. I could easily accuse the manager of similar actions, such as attempting to skimp on portions and displaying a generally rude demeanor whenever I come in (and I go a lot). Overall, this service needed to be highlighted not for the nature of how good it was, but rather how shockingly bad it was. I’m sure that the employees will blow off this review just like they blow off their customers, but I still felt the need to provide the public with a true look into this Chipotle before deciding to pay good money...
