In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Oceanside

We love this location as it’s close to home, and the staff are always so friendly. They are quick and efficient in the drive-up as well as inside. This particular early evening I had all three kiddos and decided to do the drive-thru to take home. Everything was to be expected with great service. We received our food order in bags and headed home. Immediately upon arriving home I started dishing out the orders and found that we were missing one of the kids cheeseburgers. I double checked the receipt and sure enough was charged for all of them. Not an ideal situation with hungry kiddos and having got home to discover this. I was kicking myself because I usually always check the order before leaving. I called the In-N-Out number from the receipt. Immediately spoke with Adrian (CS). He was friendly and apologetic. He asked what would be easier going back or getting a gift card in the mail. I requested a gift card as I wasn’t about to round everyone back up to go get a cheeseburger. He took some info down and assured I’d be getting my gift card in the mail. He was right, I got a thoughtful letter and gift card in the mail for an entire meal. Such an awesome surprise and gesture for my troubles. Just solidifies there are still companies out there going above and beyond in their customer service. You can guarantee we’ll be back...

In-N-Out Burger is a place I crave late night after work. It's not too expensive and the ability to create your own unique sandwich is cool. This location is usually busy and you will be in the drive thru anywhere from 5-15 minutes and the wait time inside is even longer. If you want to eat together I recommend ordering on the same check. I have gone with friends and we all ordered back to back, separately, and we all got our food 5/10 minutes apart. The last time I was there, I decided to go inside to order. They skipped me by 5 people, I went and asked eta on my order, because I was now there for almost 25 minutes waiting to get my food and it wasn't busy. The guy said sorry we missed your order and I waited another 15 minutes to get my food. I don't ever expect anything free from food places, but if you skip someone, you should offer a free drink or fries for their wasted time. Other than that, I think the hype In-N-Out falls short when you finally eat their food. The burgers are nothing special ,the fries are bland alone, but good Animal Style and the shakes late night never taste like the flavor you want. If you want a shake late night expect to taste Vanilla, chocolate...

Update: Return Visit a couple weeks later and disappointed that the bun came out hard around the edges again! What!? This time Alex provided excellent guest service. So I appreciate the team members who want to help. Sadly, managers don’t seem to care. In addition to the poor food experience again, I stood at the counter for several mins while team members and managers passed by me several times without even a greeting, including the gal waiting for people to pickup their orders. I finally had to ask her if anyone was going to take my order. Never experienced this at any IN&OUT Location. They’re always quick to greet you and ready to take your order as soon as you walk in the door. First time at this location and my burger bun was burnt and hard as a brick, especially around the entire edge of both top and bottom bun. I was so hungry and there were a lot of people waiting and I didn’t want to wait to have it remade. So pulled the burger out and ate without the bun. The other thing is the cheese and onions kept falling out even when it was still in the bun—sliding out. Anyway—shout out to Mateo who provided top notch...
