Local Canes — Restaurant in Oceanside

I was very pleased to hear that Oceanside finally got its very own sugarcane juice shop! So I went to check out Local Canes fresh-pressed juices!

Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area, but it's also tucked away in a sort of nook. If driving East on Oceanside Blvd, you'll make a Left to head north into the Del Oro Shopping Plaza that has the Albertsons.

They just recently re-opened from renovations and it looks like they created a very beautiful "local" art mural on their walls, which depicts the Oceanside Pier and other fun anime characters. It's very colorful and playful! Definitely suits the vibes of the shop.

Their interior is extremely simplified and only has a row of chairs to sit down & relax, while waiting for your fresh-pressed cane juice to be made.

The service is fast & friendly. Prices are fair for being a small business in the area.

I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well.

Another service I appreciate is that you can order juice by the gallon. This is great for parties or gatherings.

Overall, I really appreciate Local Canes and their fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. It's amazing great option to have in the inland...

Dealing with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) and some recommendations for diet say that real cane sugar is not bad! Our bodies process it quickly and it doesn't lie around and ferment like other types of sugar and artificial sweeteners. Happened to be in Oceanside and had a craving for something sweet. Happened to see this place and was intrigued. Never heard of fresh cane juice (though I learned while waiting briefly for my juice from the friendly young man that it is common in parts of Asia and Latin America) but thought it might do the trick for my sweet tooth vs SIBO dilemma. Ginger and lemon are both soothing for GI troubles also, so I got the juice with those. My first words were, Intensely delicious! Freshly pureed ginger and freshly squeezed lemon juice in heavenly cane nectar. Out of this world! Everything the reviews say it is....

So delicious, not too sweet and tastes super fresh! My favorite is the watermelon but strawberry and dragonfruit are also delicious! They crush up the fruit right in front of you and freshly squeeze the sugarcane. I woke up craving one today, not to mention the health benefits of sugarcane juice are amazing.
