I've been eating at this taco shop since the late 1980's when it was across the street where the Rite Aid is now on the corner of Oceanside Blvd & Hill St. Back then it was the only place open 24hrs so the best place to stop for a late night weekend snack. The new location doesn't have the fun vibe the old location had, but the food hasn't changed. The rolled tacos are the best here especially with the Mexican cheese. The taquitos are still just as good as when I first visited. The torta & carne asada burrito also recommended. There normal asada burrito has meat, pico de gallo & guacamole. If you want rice & beans you need to ask.

This place is awesome and me and my Dad have been going here for years. The carne Asada fries are so, so good and same with California burrito. Sometimes I get the quesadillas & rolled tacos as well, I love those as well haha. Menu is so big it’s kinda hard to pick when they have so many great options, definitely will be going back to try the Takis and hot Cheeto burrito's 🇲🇽🌮🌯

Really tasty food. I ordered the rolled taquitos which come with rice and beans. My bf got chicken tacos, asada tacos, and carnitas tacos which were large tacos and so good. Everything was delicious!

Roberto's Tacos has been a San Diego staple for over 50 years. They set the stage for the more authentic Tijuana fast food revolution that is present throughout San Diego. The Oceanside store has the number 13 attached to it. I surmise that indicates it is their 13th store and must have been around for some time. Their food is outstanding and their price is more than fair for the quantity and quality you get. I love their Carne Asada Burrito's that comes with plenty of Carne Asada, guacamole, pico in a huge flour tortilla. This is a treat for us when we visit because in the Bay Area Mexican taco shops fill their burritos with rice and beans, gross! Another treat is their Rolled Tacos with or without guacamole. You can get beef or chicken. They are crispy and oh so good. On this visit we noticed this Roberto's had some specialty burritos that I might have to try next time. One was a Carne Asada burrito with spicy hot Cheetos and another that had 2 rolled tacos inside a Carne Asada burrito. Love it! When in San Diego take some time and visit a Roberto's Tacos. You will enjoy a fantastic inexpensive meal and instantly become a critic of Mexican food outside of San Diego. Until our next visit, I will have to suffer through the bean and rice mess that they call burritos in the Bay Area. See you soon Roberto's Tacos....

How many times in your life do you remember the food that you actually ate. I'm 63 years old and I probably remember five in my entire life that were memorable. I was an an Army recruiter in Oceanside California in the early '90s.Roberto's was across the parking lot from where our office was. . I ate there weekly for 3 years and have dreamed of going back ever since. My dream came true and I finally got to go back let me tell you it was worth flying from Florida to California. It's great, the Price is Right and even one of the guys that work there in the '90s is still there. If you're ever in Oceanside stop by, you won't be...
