Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Oceanside

I came too the oceanside round table at around 8PM on 7/31/17 with my boyfriend and his 7 year old daughter. We ordered a large half meat and half Hawaiian with 6 garlic twists and a 2 liter of Pepsi. A kind young man (tall, slim build) quoted is a 15 minute wait. We went to wait on the bench closest to the register. While sitting there a young woman on staff (gauges, thick build) decided to loudly comment about my boyfriend - she found him attractive and was very vocal about her attraction to him. Another young woman on staff shushed her, told her to be quiet and communicated that he had a girlfriend. The young woman with gauges replied loudly, "I don't care of he had a girlfriend! That's never stored me before!" Amidst the racuous laughter behind the counter, my boyfriend muttered to me, "She's behaving disgustingly". Were both decide to just finish waiting for kitt-09 food because we were exhausted and hungry after spending 8 hours at Lego land. The young women then call out the name 'Stephanie', but I was uncertain what name had been called so i walked to the counter to check they hadn't called 'Kimmii'. The young lady gave me an attitude laced, dismissing no. I simply went back to my family at the bench and went back to recalling the amazing day wet had just had. A few minutes later the make in Stephanie' s group brings the pizza they were served back to the counter. Turns out the young lady served our pizza to Stephanie. My boyfriend confirmed that the returned pizza was ours with the young man who had originally helped us. The women behind the counter began pointing fingers at each other until one starts yelling, "just put it in a box, just pout it in a box!" Our garlic twists were not even ready, so we ended up getting cold, second-hand pizza with warm garlic twists, and horrific customer service (from the ladies, the man was doing his best to be professional). This visit was terrible and ended what had been a great day on...

Zero stars.

And I mean a HARD, absolute zero stars!

How in the world is this place even in business? This particular Round Table Pizza has the worst service I've experienced in the last five years. Avoid this "restaurant" like the plague.

Here's why...

I've tried ordering online twice, and there were huge problems both times. On my first order, they screwed up the pizza toppings and were 45 minutes late delivering my food. On my second order, they didn't deliver the food at all; I even put specific instructions on how to get to my home just to be safe.

When I called about my missing second-order (just now) I spoke to a young woman who immediately put me on hold for ten minutes. When she finally returned, she asked me why I had called; she had apparently forgotten to check on an order that was already an hour late. It turns out, they either didn't deliver the food or delivered it to the wrong place; she couldn't figure it out definitively. She never apologized for the mess and was noticeably upset that she had to process a refund. During this painful 15-minute phone call this young lady asked for my address and order number four times. She just couldn't bother to pay attention, which has been my experience with the entire staff here. After she confirmed that the refund was processed she hung up the phone without saying a word.

I make it a point to NOT be a PITA with restaurants and their staff and rather just come here to be honest about the experience---because it's not worth getting seriously upset over. Even still, I'm pretty blown away with how poorly this Round Table Pizza is being run. Corporate needs to step in, terminate every person at this location including management, shut down the store, and start over again in six months with new staff.

Bottom line here is this: worst service in years, backed by a staff that is fantastically rude and incompetent. The food is just okay. Go literally anywhere else. Absolute...

well we just moved to Carlsbad from Escondido and wanted to try out one of my fav spots, Round Table Pizza. so we call the store that is 1.4 miles away from my condo and was told that I am not with in the delivery area when I know for a fact that it is a 5 mile radius. I then try and place my order online and the system errors out and asks me to call a number to place my order. I call back again and was told that if I came and picked it up I would receive 15% off my order. I show up and for 2 pizzas, large 1 topping and a large 2 topping pizza comes to 45 dollars and change. I ask have they changed their prices or toppings to organic and was told no. In all my orders at the Escondido store I have never paid 45 dollars for 2 pizzas. I ask why is this store so high in price compared to others and she said just high quality pizza. she then hands me some coupons and I was rude at this point and was oh yah next time. A. I live WAY Close to this place for it not to be delivery. I live off Maron Rd and the restaurant is on the same road. If it were not for guests that wanted the pizza I would have not paid and then just left. to promise a 15 % off to come in and pick up and then not give it to your customers is quite pathetic.
