Grabbed some food to-go on the way back from SD to LA. The food wasn't bad but the experience sucked because one of the staff members was really unpleasant.

Ordered: Shrimp Diabla burrito, bean and cheese burrito, rolled chicken tacos, carne asada quesadilla, fish taco, and shrimp taco.

Favorite item was the bean and cheese. The tortilla was warm and chewy. Beans were deliciously messy and cheesy. Simple and wonderful. The quesadilla was solid, their flour tortillas are a delight. The shrimp Diabla was okay, mostly tasted of tomato paste. Rolled tacos were forgettable. Minimal filling and super dry. Covered with guac, pico, and sour cream but it really tasted like a rolled tortilla with a little chicken jerky in it. The tacos were big and the fish and shrimp were good. Threw away most of the tortilla.

Their salsas were also just whatever. No seasoning or spice. Just either tomatillo flavor or tomato flavor.

Experience was unpleasant. I like hot sauce and next to the register they had hot sauce out. There were little cups behind the sauce so I started to pour the hot sauce. The chef walked up and asked if they could help me and I said, "I'm okay, I'm just grabbing some hot sauce." She said, "don't do that, I will get it for you." Then she walked away.

I waited for my order and when it came I asked the staff member for hot sauce. They said they put it in. There was salsa but not hot sauce. So I walked back and said, "hey, I was hoping for the hot sauce." The chef walked out and said I'll get it. She walked over to the sauces, grabbed one and put two splashes of it in a cup and gave it to me. I asked if I could try the other one and she rolled her eyes at me, walked over and splashed two splashes in a cup and gave it to me.

Look, why have it out in the front if you don't want to serve it. Both hot sauces were super tasty on the food but basically I got one splash of each. I don't understand why she was so unpleasant and stingy about hot sauce versus salsa but just the fact she was so rude and didn't follow through made it a bad experience. I felt like I was troubling them despite ordering a pretty hefty amount of food.

Anyway, food is solid if you make the right choices. The cook was a jerk. Typically it doesn't matter but she made it a point to be not so pleasant with me so I won't...

This place is one of Oceanside’s BEST hidden gems, they have the absolute BEST food in town, they’re literally #1. The ingredients are SO FRESH and everything is made in very generous portions. You’ll probably even have leftovers. The food is very filling, but it’s so good that you may just keep eating even if you are full…. it is just THAT good. I ordered the al a crate chicken tacos and I was impressed by every mouthwatering bite (also greatly impressed with their large size…they were huge)I had gotten 3 but 2 filled me up. They were soooo delicious that I went back and I ate the last one a few minutes later 🤣 I want to try more on the menu because I seriously loved those tacos. So much flavor in every bite. You can almost taste the food through the pictures on their website, and I can guarantee you that the photos on their website are 100% accurate and they look so yummmmm 🤤🤤🤤🤤 thanks for reading, please give this place a try I promise you won’t regret it and I can almost garuntee it will be you’r new...

On my way back to LA from TJ craving some seafood looked on Google for help decided to check this place out, got a shrimp cocktail, 2 shrimp ceviche tostadas, and a chicken quesadilla, along with a Modelo Negra michelada. First the shrimp cocktail was decent, nothing special added tapatio and lemon to give it extra flair just ok with shrimp, very basic. Shrimp ceviche tostadas were meh, very basic nothing special, no seasoning had to add lemon, salt, and pepper to give it some real flavor, the chicken quesadilla was surprisingly the point thing that actually had flavor... good amount of chicken and cheese along with guacamole, sour cream, Pico de Gallo. The michelada was the worst I ever had idk if it was the beer or the mix they had but I had a hard time drinking it, it was not good at all even when adding lemon to it... nothing special at all with the food I had and definitely not with the...

We are visiting from New Mexico this is our first time in the area. Our goal for our holiday was to try many of the locally owned restaurants as we could. This was our first place we tried and it was a success! The time we ordered to when we got our food was pretty quick and the food was delicious. The staff all very friendly. I recommend any of their tacos, especially the fish and shrimp.

We ordered beef and nachos(shrimp allergy in the family), shrimp and fish tacos, and a plate of fish and chips. I asked for rice and beans with my tacos. The beans wore really good (como los de mi mama lol). All the food had a really good taste like real Mexican food, (echo en casa). I tried the spicy salsa 👍(they had 3 types). Great customer service. I will definitely recommend it. 👍
