To preface this post, I NEVER write reviews. Why? Because I never care enough to go out of my way. This place is the exception. I am so infuriated with how my family was treated that I want to help others avoid making the same mistake. First of all, terrible service. The staff was extremely rude. My five year old has better manners than the employees here. They have no compassion. My 2 year old needed to use the bathroom and they told us that it was closed to the public. We said, "we understand but she really needs to go, she is about to have an accident, is there anyway she can use it?" They said no exceptions. My wife asked to speak to a manager, so they called someone on the phone. They wouldn't let her use the phone to speak to the manager. (By now my 2 year old has to pee so bad that she is crying). Finally my wife got the manager on the phone and she was told to "Go use Subways bathroom." WHAT?????!!! Are you kidding me? I almost pulled my daughters pants down right there and let her pee on the floor! I was so upset. Finally they let her use the bathroom. When my wife took her back to the restroom she understood why they didn't want anyone back there. The place was filthy! Piles of dirty pots and pans on the floor. We are tempted to contact the health inspector! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Unless you enjoy rude people and filthy food prep. If I could post zero...
Read moreAugust 7, 2025. First time going there as recommended by the hotel receptionist. Panpan Wok. About 10 minutes total drive from hotel. The restaurant was easily accessed through the back parking lot. The displayed food trays didn't look luxurious except for the beef with green peppers, the rice noodles and the fried fish. So i ordered all of those in large portions. Also, added was 2 bowls of seafood soup. Also, i have to ask for the house special fried rice with mix of all the meat they serve since that was not in any of the tray at the front. Totaled $97 and it was all worth it. More than enough foos take out until the next day. This was mu 3rd.time in Oceanside and Panpan Wok makes my stop over in this place great. I have saved this in Google maps so when we're passing thru or staying, i will come back to this restaurant. I am too full to describe how delicious the food were and i am waiting for my tummy to free up space so i can go back eating the leftovers. I hope people will give Panpan Wok a try. Ask for something you want. The lady that took the order certainly dis listen to my...
Read moreI usually enjoy dining at PanPan Wok locations, but my experience at the Oceanside one was absolutely terrible. The food was fine, but the service and treatment I received were shocking. The older woman working there was kind and polite, but the owner, an older Chinese man, was extremely rude.
He seemed to assume that because I was Hispanic, I couldn’t understand Chinese, so he started talking badly about me to the staff in Chinese. He was calling me broke and making rude comments about how I was sharing meals with my kids and that they were using too many napkins and too much sriracha sauce.
This behavior is not only disrespectful but completely unprofessional. I’ve never had an issue like this at other PanPan Wok locations in San Diego, and I will never be returning to the Oceanside branch. I can't support a place where the owner treats customers with such disrespect. It's clear he doesn’t care about customer service or making people...
