So once you find this hidden gem of a Caribbean style soul food kitchen run by the man Dre you will be hooked. First off the sides are ridiculously good and flavorful. The collard greens are some of the best I’ve ever had and that jollof rice has just the right amount of heat without compromising flavor. Now for the main event…..the jerk chicken and the ribs……the chicken is so moist and just falls right off the bone. The spice levels are on point and a slight hint of smokiness at the back end. Same exact thing with the ribs they are moist and just melt in your mouth with a slight hint is smokiness and sweetness that hit the taste buds just right. Get the ribs! Hands down, the pork ribs are my favorite item on the menu. You can purchase the "Naked Truth" combo to try them. It comes with red beans and rice plus an additional 6 oz. side.

For my extra side, I ordered the collard greens. They are delicious and seasoned perfectly. If you enjoy a little heat in your greens, then you'll definitely like these.

It's not pictured, but I also tried the sofrito stuffed chicken and the jollof rice. After the ribs, these two are my next favorite dishes! This was my first time trying them and they did not disappoint! The jollof rice is super flavorful and the sofrito chicken was juicy and scrumptious!

The food here is AMAZING! The Sofrito Chicken is delicious, the Red Beans and Rice are incredible, the fried plantains are just like Mom used to make. The ribs and greens are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The Servings Sizes are great for the price. One of my favourite items and I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE everyone to order is Tasty Buds Gourmet Cheesecake! It's literally sinful. So good.
