Frank's is everything you could possibly want in a crab stop. They offer take out seafood with fast service without sacrificing quality. The Blue Crabs are my favorite menu item and literally the best I have ever had anywhere hands down. Which is saying a lot since I grew up in Maryland and used to go crabbing with my family on Solomon's Island. The large are really jumbo so order those if they are available. You can also get huge steamed shrimp, handmade crab cakes, snow crab, dungeoness crab, crawfish and combo crab & shrimp platters. Add potatoes, corn on the cob, smoked sausage and/or boiled egg all ala carte. They also offer fried options ( oysters, wings) made to order. The store is immaculate. The service is excellent. The food is fresh and DELICIOUS! And Frank & his boys are friendly and welcoming. I have been eating Frank's food at least once a few times a month for the past 7 years for good reason. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue till today. The Dungeness crabs was old and hard had an ammonia smell. I’m so disappointed I paid $18 each cluster. For some crabs I had to trash. The health department need to regulate this place because come on. This is ridiculous. Someone could get sick and I have before from eating bad old crabs. I would say if you like their sauce just buy it and go out and get your own crabs because they can’t be trusted. Anything to take people hard earned money. I’m pissed!! The shrimp I ordered was good I’m happy they now devain them. They leave the seafood on shelf way too long, if they don’t sell it’s left there for weeks. I absolutely love Frank's!!!! I have been a patron for years and of course things always change but their customer service has always been top tier. Frank and his son's make you feel welcome when you walk through the door. Their attention to detail and the care put into simply packaging your food shows that they care. Food has always been fresh and cooked to perfection. I usually get the crab platter with shrimps, boiled egg, potato and sausage, they add plenty of butter and seasoning.
