I had an amazing experience at this new Pita location. The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors. I tried the chicken shawarma, and it was perfectly seasoned. The Greek fries are absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the menu, making sure I got exactly what I wanted. I have to give a huge shoutout to Matt. His passion for food really shines through in every dish. He was also super friendly and made the whole dining experience even better with his great energy. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming, perfect for lunch or dinner. I also appreciated the vegetarian options for my friend who joined me. PITA Mediterranean Street Food in Ocoee just opened and they’re already killing it. The food was fresh and flavorful, service was quick, and the staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations.

I went with the happy hour special: mini traditional gyro (spicy, loaded up with all the fixings), Greek fries, and a drink. The fries were nice and crispy, especially with the Greek house sauce. The gyro was spot on—the pita was soft and fluffy, everything tasted fresh, and the spice had a good kick. I also grabbed a falafel gyro to try, and the falafel was exactly how it should be: crunchy outside, soft and airy inside.

All of that for about $20, which was plenty to share, makes it a solid deal. For a brand new spot, they’ve set the bar high, and I can definitely see myself...

I ordered the Signature Gyro with harissa hummus, and every bite was a standout. The beef gyro meat was incredibly flavorful—moist, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. It had that savory depth you hope for but rarely get in fast-casual Mediterranean fare.
