HORRIBLE DINING EXPERIENCE, NEVER AGAIN!
It all started as soon as I walked in.. the live music was cranked up way too loud, like it were some sleazy congal, and not a family restaurant.. you have to literally scream at the top of your lungs, to the waiter to get your order in.. I screamed at him that I wanted 2 cheese enchiladas, with some fajita on the side, along with rice and beans.. he acknowledged and went to get my order in. I can honestly say that West Texas residents do not know what REAL Mexican food is, cause what I got was anything but real... the waiter brought me 2 enchiladas with bits of fajita inside!.. who the hell would order enchiladas with bits of fajita inside?!.. on top of that, the enchiladas were covered in an awful red sauce, that closely resembled thick tomato sauce! I asked the waiter for some tortillas, and he brought me some ugly store bought ones!..you would think that a Mexican restaurant with such Mexican flare would at least have authentic homemade tortillas, and not some tortillas you would find at HEB. Now going back to the music.. you would think they would hire a trio to play tasteful Mexican family music, but instead they were playing naco music, you would hear at a drunken pachanga, with a bunch of pelados, wearing cowboy hats, botas tribaleras, toting their gold plated guns, with la virgen de Guadalupe on the handles.. I will never come to...

But this time around I saw something I'm glad I did. Hubby and I asked for mixed drinks they got the drinks wrong I told the waiter ,she went back to the bar and just switched out the beers on top I saw her do it and when she got to my table I asked if they were new drinks she lied to my face saying she did .When I took a drink of it, it was disgusting two different beers and Smirnoff mixed in I told her about this she gave me attitude and change them. When she brought me the new ones she told me she was going to charge me for both of them because it was not her fault and she would get in trouble if she didn't I spoke to the manager and he told me I did not have to pay for them . When I got the receipt they were there 4 drinks she rolled her eyes and supposedly spoke to the manager again and she only deleted two of them. I don't understand why why they didn't cover the full drinks it makes no sense losing a customer that clearly caught you red handed making a mistake over 2 drinks. If I was the owner of a place like this I would want for all my customers to leave happy so they can come back and spend thir 100 on me not any were else. Yes I spend 100 more or less every time we ate here. But never again. U guys just lost a costume and probably with this u will loose more. All over bad...
Read moreI live down the street from this place, every Friday and Saturday and sometimes weekdays it's FILLED with noise from their band. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat you might want to look elsewhere.
As for the food, if you have any desire to eat a sour washcloth then this may be the place for you. I've ordered the chili rejenos from here twice and both times they tasted like sour dish rags. I honestly don't even want to know how they got that taste, but the restaurant has a history of getting strikes against its cleanliness, had a salmonella outbreak and I once found fur in my food. FUR. I also have a suspicion that they mark up your food cost without you knowing. The same thing I order in Midland costs me 2x as much through their drive through. I refuse to go back, it's not authentic in any sense of the word, and I'd rather make a trip to the Midland Ajuuas where it's quieter and the food actually tastes like it's made from home.
The atmosphere is beautiful, the ceiling lights up with stars, but the bar they opened next door lights up with gunfire and they have officers posted at the doors EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. that they're open. They put my family in immediate danger through gunfire.
So if you enjoy food poisoning, potentially getting shot, and deafening music.
This is the...
