Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Odessa

Update - Dickey’s contacted me and apologized - offered me 300 loyalty points for giving me an uneatable meal, lol. $40 uneatable meal and they think 300 loyalty is an even trade, ha! Two days after the fact, they say the owner would replace the meat if I bring it back. Two days later?? And, I have to take my time to correct THEIR mistakes? Disappointing and lame attempt at customer service.

Ordered a couple of chopped brisket sandwiches (delivery - DoorDash) - one sandwich was, without exaggeration, 70% gristle and fat. Very disappointing. I had never been there before and the restaurant was empty. It was not clear where I should order so I went to the register. After 10+ min of the guy behind the counter giving me dirty looks; not greeting me or anything. He finally comes over and says "do you need something?" It was very rude and after I said I wanted to order he said well normally you do it over here but what do you want? I did get my order and while the food was good I was very disturbed by the girl working the drive thru. She constantly was taking her mask off, picking her nose, then touching all the chip bags. It was extremely unclean. I decided to not eat the food bc of the pandemic. Obviously the people who work there do not care and...

Normally, I would have rated Dickey's as a 5 star. Service has always been great, the restaurant clean, and food amazing. This time, however, we had a problem with the drinks. All of our cups had sediment of some sort and some sludge-like spots. I went up to the counter, explained the situation, and they replaced one of our cups (there were 4 of us) with a new cup, ice, and sprite from behind the counter. We decided to leave and not bother with the rest of our drinks. Imagine our surprise when we get to the house and the new sprite was just as bad. Emailed Dickey's, with no response. It is what it is.
