They wrote on their Google My Business account, “unpretentious parlor,” and it is very true. The place didn’t feel Italian at all. Actually, there was no real environment or vibe, but it was as expected from their claim. I ordered a half salad and they gave plenty of it. It was good but nothing beyond what I could have made myself, and came out on a plastic party plate. If you want a simple salad, this will do just fine. We also got raviolis, and there were only four of them. Sauce wasn’t all that amazing either and they were very overpriced for what they serve and they came out on a paper plate. This was the main disappointment of our order. Now where they do shine was the pizza itself. The pizza was quite good, looked well made, and had plenty of toppings. If it wasn’t on a paper plate, it could have been pretty impressive. If I go back, I will only order the pizza and nothing else. I will say I was pretty happy with the pizza, it’s the saving grace.

Came in here with some family members and the meal was okay and it was a pleasant experience but the waitress made us to move things for her instead of asking us for help as if it it was expected and it just didn't feel right but I'm not mad about that. The meatball appetizer is just frozen meatballs reheated and covered in cheese and sauce to which the meatballs didn't have much flavor I had hoped they were freshly prepared. The waitress helped us customize the pizza and didn't charge us for the additional toppings which was very kind of her, but the pizza wasn't cut very well and some slices were ridiculous in size where some of us had 1 slice and another had 3, the pizza wasn't unison with the tray either which made it smaller than what we ordered in terms of pricing. I really liked this place but I am curious as to what changed, ownership, management, perhaps an illness so they were short staffed, I am very baffled.

This was our first time back to Ligori's in nearly 2 years due to COVID. The establishment is severely understaffed which causes long wait times with food served on Dixie paper plates and bowls. Our Pizza tasted like they spread marinara sauce on a wet sponge and warmed it up in a microwave. The dough was half cooked throughout each slice. The only entre that had any edible appeal was the cheese bread and Chef Salad. The plastic forks and knifes made it seem like we werent eating in a restaurant but in a scout camp mess hall. We really have enjoyed Ligori's Ogden in the past but something seemed to be off from the get go compared a couple years ago.

My family and I went to Ligori's on 8/24/24. Our refrigerator had died the previous week and and then the replacement was freezing everything in the refrigerator. It was a long week and a half of using canned foods and dried pasta until we had a functional replacement. We had lost a lot of food and been getting by with very creative meals. We had eaten out a handful of times because you really need a break from meal limitations in a situation like that, especially with 3 children.

I won't name the places we ate, as those will have reviews at a later time. We were left disappointed with nearly every instance of take out or dine in. I had wanted to try Ligori's for a while and we really managed our expectations and walked in cautiously optimistic.

We were greeted with minimal wait before being seated by friendly staff. While we waited to be served there was old timey music playing overhead, I'd say a mixture of 30s to 50s, if I recall correctly. I decided upon their Philly Cheese Steak, my wife had a meatball sandwich, our daughters each had the octopus spaghetti, and our 1 year old son ate from our plates. Our entire meal totaled out to be $40.00 with 4 meals, and 3 drinks. This had been the heartiest meal we'd had in a while and were pleased with the results.

We'll definitely be back in the future to try the pizza and pasta selections! Thank you for a wonderful evening and a pleasant surprise,...

Boy, we were very disappointed. My wife and I were highly recommended to come here by our family.

We walked in and were kinda of ignored while the take out person had a conversation with another employee. She finally looked up and said something about a service person being with us in a minute. A person came and sat the two of us at a four seat table. We were told the waitress would be with us shortly. They finally came and immediately asked if we were ready to order. No freindly banter, no “hi, I’m so and so, etc. We asked for a moment to decide on the menu. She gave us about a minute before coming and asking again for our order. When we indicated that we needed another minute she finally asked about drinks. When we finally ordered she kept handing us the platters from the far side of the table. She would set it down with here you go and then she was gone! We had to reach across the table to move our food to in front of us.

Food was not impressive at all. It tasted like they had microwaved every item after they opened the can. The pizza was ok but was served with canned mushrooms which were rubbery in texture.

This location is very close to the college so may be ok for college students taste and budgets. Needless to say, we will not...

It's been a while since I've been, and this is about my experience my first time back in that long while. I've always liked Ligori's. I've been a customer since the 90's. I became a patron of Morellis in Layton when they opened more so until they closed. So I'm back. With that being said, I'm happy but at the same time a bit disappointed. Plastic-ware and dixie plates? Styrofoam drink cups? I get it if it was to go, but in the dining room? And the covid scare is losing steam in the media so the whole Salt and pepper and condiments in the paper need to just go. And when did the greedy come in? Only one refill on your beverage and then another charge of you should need more? I spent $60 and nothing has really changed or impressed me to justify that obnoxious uptick in prices. The staff looked dirty, and they were lounging around in the dining room at a table next to the register, with a few of them staring creepily at the guests as we ate. While our server was nice, i would've much rather have had the 15 minute conversion with the person i went with than with her and would've appreciated it more if she would've put in our order sooner. I will continue to go back. But i doubt I'll ever...
