Thai Palm Kitchen — Restaurant in Ogden

Never been here so decided to try it. First and last time. Ordered the Thai Palm Family online for carry out. Said it would be ready in 30-45 minutes. I thought, "Wow, for a nearly $30 meal there's gonna be leftovers, and it's gonna be fresh!" Decided to go inside to wait, and use their restroom... don't. It's gross floor to ceiling. They need to hire a professional cleaner. Sat on chairs to the side that smell of body odor. Food was ready in 20, so that's impressive, (I guess?) but then they handed me my meal. It was super lightweight. When I opened it up, the sauces took up 1/3 of the space, and I saw a lot of air. The egg rolls were concrete and half the size I expected. The shrimp tempura were greasy. Everything was smaller than I expected and underneath it all was this fake rice stuff that barely coated the tin. Almost no vegetables, would only consider them garnishes. Wish I could post a picture compared to what they advertise. For the price their online picture makes tou think there's got to be more on the side. This really was only an appetizer. No leftovers. I did eat it, cuz I'm not one to waste food for all that money, but it didn't fill me up, and I just took some Pepto Bismol for my rumbly tummy. Consider going somewhere else. I won't be back. Can't believe I was charged $29.80!!! Not living up to Ogden's...

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS RESTAURANT! IT IS THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT (hands down) IN SLC/OGDEN, possibly ALL of Utah!

We had the shrimp massaman curry --- delicious!

The Drunken Noodles with tofu was so so good!

Thai Fried rice with shrimp was outstanding!

Chicken Pad Ped super spicy was so delicious and the spice was perfect!

Pad Thai was solid!

Chicken satay was a delight with the cucumber salad!

Fresh spring rolls with chicken was out of this world! The peanut sauce was so good we were literally drinking it!

We tried the mango and the honeydew boba and it was perfect! Most boba you get is way too sweet. This was fresh made with real fruit and was perfectly balanced and the best boba we've had!

The mango sticky rice with coconut custard was warm and fresh and cold and creamy and just perfection!

This is the best Thai food we've had in the US.

We live in SLC and we'll absolutely be back to eat here again and we're bringing friends!!

Well...

I've been looking for a good Thai place to enjoy and boy.... this is the one. I'm a big fan of Beef Pho. The one they serve here is Top Tier S Rank Pho. The beef is a little chewy, but that comes with the territory of any soup style food. The noodles are soft and plenty.... but the kicker is the broth. Other places offer a see-thru broth, some flavor, and a lot of salt. This here, ladies and gentlemen... is a good ol Shawn Michael's Sweet Chin Music to your taste buds. All you need is a little spicy heat, and it's over the top. This is a 9.7/10 straight Facts no Printer.

We also had a yellow curry, absolutely amazing. It was packin' spice and shootin' dice. Chicken in it was nice and tender. 8.1/10

Our third option was the chicken fried rice. You could taste the freshness in it. It came out piping hot, chicken was tender and with some spice and lime juice....🔥🙌🏽👀

My absolute favorite is an all time favorite... chicken satay. The peanut sauce is the best I've had from Los Angeles to Montana... no 🧢
