Weber County Ice Sheet — Local services in Ogden

I recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at the Weber County Ice Sheet, and while the experience on the ice was enjoyable, I was disappointed with the customer service we received.

Upon arriving, we were embarrassed when our room was double booked. The staff treated us as liars in front of other guests, which was very uninclusive and dismissive. We had to insist that they contact the person who booked the room, and the matter was only resolved after we had to ask for another room that was smaller and less accommodating. This was not ideal, as guests were showing up, and we had no place to go.

Despite this, several days later, I was given a refund over the phone. While I appreciate the refund, I believe that the customer service we experienced could have been handled much better. It was disappointing to be treated in such a way, especially when we were there to celebrate a special occasion.

Overall, I would recommend the Weber County Ice Sheet for its ice skating experience, but I would caution others to double-check their reservations and ensure that they are not double booked. The customer service could use improvement, and I hope that the staff takes steps to make all guests feel welcome and included...

This is a great, affordable place for family fun. I recommend the Learn to Skate classes, as they are only $55 for 6 sessions. You receive a punch pass to practice skating one time per week (6 times) in addition to your lesson. Rental skates are included in the punch passes and for lessons. Beginner kids classes are less expensive. The price I quoted is for adults and the higher-level kids classes. It is nice how the adults class is separated out, so that you don’t have to feel stupid starting as an adult. It makes for a nice date night!

Everybody is friendly at the Ice Sheet and you quickly make new friends when you attend regularly. Not to mention, this is some of the best...

Security in this building is extremely rude. Many different teams are following through their doors for the Thorne Cup playoffs. They won't let anyone bring in an outside coffee, won't let media people down lower to take pictures. Then when the game was over, individual shoving everyone ot of the building into pouring down rain to wait for their players to come out. Just curious if this was just their typical treatment to everyone or just their hatred...
